Hi there !
I just started my journey on the high carb raw vegan lifestyle and I have been wondering about all the aspects of the vegan lifestyle including what a vegan house looks like.
I would appreciate to have your opinions and what you have changed to your homes/flats/bedrooms/etc. since you switched to that lifestyle.
Thanks for sharing :- ) !

I have papaya in mine and buy the rest. I really want to change the house to go with the lifestyle and make it easier overall for me and better for everyone else here. I have felt some lightness since starting the raw journey and would like my environment to reflect it.
Permalink Reply by Lauren Anderson on April 29, 2012 at 10:02am I havn't changed anything except piles of fruit on the kitchen counter and in my bedroom. I've seen a few raw vegans who make their oven/stoves storage places for fruit which is cool. But I live with 4 meatheads to I can't do that.
Permalink Reply by Catherine on April 29, 2012 at 2:56pm Hi Lauren and thanks for your answer ! Are you keeping your fruit in your bedroom too ? I live with meat eaters too, I tend to prepare veggies and fruits and put them in the fridge, it works, others are also eating them.

Permalink Reply by Blueberryz on April 29, 2012 at 3:02pm I would say that since going vegan, my house has significantly changed. Aside from the typical adjustments in my kitchen, I have removed as many cleaning products and toiletries as possible. The only "product" I really have is Dr Bronner soap. Also, my daily habits are now very sustainable for the earth and my wallet! Instead of pads/tampons, I switched to using a menstrual cup. For toilet paper, I use squares of flannel sheets, wash and reuse. For paper towels, I use terry cloths, wash and resuse. I have added plants into the house, to clean the air, and for a more "natural" environment. I have also aimed to simplify my home and get rid of clutter and excess decorations. These changes have worked for me!
