They're super juicy and high in calories at the same time.
They are absolutely irresistible, and the most delicious fruit ever.

Permalink Reply by Reed on July 27, 2012 at 3:27pm Just about all fruits come in a tie for 1st place for me but can't wait for Pomegranate's to be in season.
Permalink Reply by Figa on July 27, 2012 at 6:40pm mangoes for sure:
even if you go mono and eat 3000 calories from only mangoes you will get almost all vitamins and minerals more than 100% (besides sodium)

Permalink Reply by Darren Is bananas! on July 28, 2012 at 11:50am Something we have an advantage in is when you eat raw foods the nutrients are more usable. I think everyone knows that but as a result we can tone down most nutritional requirements a little. so we don't need as much as cronometer suggests because those standards are assuming cooked foods.
This is why we can eat less protein, iron etc and still thrive. Actually a fact I tell people when they give me the old "where do ya get ur protein mate".

The downside is that good papayas can be hard to come by.
