Hey guys, I've become a little concerned about my Vita-mix 5200 lately. It's a great blender and only a year old, I love making banana smoothies with it everyday. But, recently I noticed a few hours after washing it out and drying it, there is a funky smell. The blades are brown and stained, but not rusty.
Am I not washing it properly? I never use soap, just hot water.
Just wanted to see what you guys think and maybe if you've had this happen too. Feedback is much appreciated. Thanks!

Most likely some mold took up home in your blender, nothing to worry, easy to clean.
