Hi All,
Just wanted to let you know that I've just got back from Beijing, China, having won my first professional ranking event for 3 years!
It's only my 9th professional ranking event win and I'm now in my 21st season as a pro; some say that I'm a slow player but obviously, I'm an even slower learner!
Interestingly, I've only been vegan for around 4 months but feel fantastic and weigh the lightest I've been for 10 years, at 69.6kg, yesterday morning.
Snooker is very popular in China now, with audiences reaching over 100 million, throughout Asia, on occasions, especially when the Chinese players are involved.
I had the opportunity to promote a vegan lifestyle, during my press conferences last week and even managed to plug 30banansaday.com and also the fantastic books, The China Study and Healing The Gerson Way, as well as wearing a Forks Over Knives logo on my waistcoat, which was shown in all my TV matches.
Amazingly, I was asked if it might be possible for me to write the foreword for a Chinese translation of Charlotte Gerson's book, which would be a great honour and that's something that I did before, when writing the foreword for Millionaire Upgrade, by Richard Parkes-Cordock.
This is the first season for 17 years, that I've been outside the top 16 in the world rankings, so now have to win a qualifying match for the World Championship, which is our final event of the season.
Yesterday's win takes me back up to no.20, so I'm heading in the right direction again!
I have just under 2 weeks to prepare myself for that qualifying match, so it will be more of the same; sleep, water, sugar, practise and it's the last part that's the difficult bit!
All the best, Peter

Thank you for your reply which made me discover the beauty of another human being.
You are right, life is way to short, what do we live for? Life is for living and being healthy. Live and let live, be healthy and share the message of how-to-live-a-healthy-life. Whenever we are helping others, we help ourselves. Gradually we will be living in a peaceful and harmonious world.
I am working in a vegan cafe - Loving Hut Camden as chef and one of the managers. We promote veganism and loving, peaceful lifestyle. Regarding the healthy living, animal protection and many other areas, you may find this website is constructive and informative. http://www.suprememastertv.com/
I will follow you closely, hope to hear more and more good news from you!!

Sorry I've not had the chance to reply before now but I've been in Sheffield, minus my laptop and have been preparing for my World Championship qualifying match, which I managed to win yesterday.
There are no easy draws at the World Championship, obviously but I received a very tough draw today and face 3 times World Champion and former world no.1 Ronnie O' Sullivan, in the first round at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield, which starts on BBC, this Saturday, with my match scheduled for Monday and Tuesday of next week.
I'm looking forward to it though and have been working hard, in preparation...
I'll have to pop into the Loving Hut in Camden, next time I'm in London, to say 'hello'!
I lived in Islington for almost 20 years, so am quite familiar with Camden.
Aside, if I remember correctly, I saw a video on youtube, which featured suprememastertv and I believe it was a narrated version of The China Study...
Take care..
All the best, Peter

I am so glad that you popped in to our Loving Hut the other day. It's a shame that I wasn't in the shop. My colleague was excited to tell me that he had a good chat with you, and one of our customers who is snooker fun was happily surprised seeing you there. Hope we can meet next time, or maybe encounter somewhere else. I just want to say you've done great job on spreading vegan message. Keep up your good work and take care.
Love and God bless,
Sunny

Just got back to the UK and I'm sorry that I missed you, when popping into the Loving Hut, in Camden.
Next time I'm in London, I'll do my best to drop in again and hopefully we can meet.
Aside, it's amazing what can happen sometimes; I wore a Gerson Therapy logo during the recent Snooker World Championship, before being told that I had to remove it, on the 2nd day because of complaints to the BBC and also due to the fact, that apparently, I broke the 1939 Cancer Act by wearing it, on TV!
Still, through wearing that logo, I met a really nice guy, a vegan, called Dave, who came to meet me in Sheffield, especially, to thank me for advertising the Gerson Therapy logo; a good friend of his, is a cancer survivor, due to Gerson Therapy.
Anyway, through meeting Dave, I was subsequently contacted by the Gerson Support Group UK and now they've asked me to officially open their new centre in Bagnall (formerly in Surrey but apparently, now officially in Buckinghamshire!!!), which I'm delighted to be able to do, on Friday 1st June.
Hopefully, we can continue to spread the good word of a vegan lifestyle and also to promote the natural health advantages of Gerson Therapy treatment, for people with very low immunity and those with cancer and other degenerative diseases.
Take care...
Love, light and healthy eating...
All the best,
Peter

It is always a pleasure to read your words as they are positive and bright.
This world is incredible, a lot of time unbelievable. It stands as it is though, still it's changing as everyone puts their part in. I love what Gandhi said 'Be the miracle you want to see'. When doing what we love, we align with people who share the same ideal. I bet you opening new center of Gerson Support Group UK was a nice experience and a great support given to the Group.
The vegan lifestyle, which is popularized by Gerson Therapy, and by groups and organization from different standpoint, not only is a healthy way of living, but a loving, peaceful attitude to life. Let's keep doing what we do and do possibly more when we can to be more inspiring to every one we meet.
A big applause to you!
Love and Bless,
Sunny

Like you, i lost someone to lung cancer. My fiance, and wife to be. She was 29 yrs old. She was diagnosed out of nowhere, and then 8 weeks later she was gone. Next week will already be 2 years. Time sure does fly. Life is short, that's why we MUST get people on the healthy compassionate side of the fence while we can. We are all lights to our friends.
My fiance and your father, are both watching over us, and proud that we are preaching the RIGHT WAY to eat, and the RIGHT WAY to live. With TRUE COMPASSION.

Thank you for your reply.
I'm so sorry to hear about the death of your fiance; it must have been and must still be, an incredibly difficult time for you and certainly, I can appreciate that when these terrible things happen, that nothing can ever be the same again...
As you quite rightly suggest, focusing on a healthy vegan lifestyle and spreading that wonderful message, is probably the most positive thing, that as individuals, we can ever do.
I also take great comfort, from the words of wisdom, in Dr Deepak Chopra's book Life After Death, where he suggests that we are eternal beings of light, love and consciousness and that our transition to the next stage, is nothing more than becoming pure consciousness itself, which I think, is an incredibly wonderful and positive way, in which to look at the bigger picture.
I certainly feel that my Dad is with me and will always be with me, in my heart, thoughts, mind and prayers...
Wishing you all the very best...
Love, light and healthy eating!

Talking about cancer, it makes me so upset about all woman getting breast cancer and don't change their lifestyle but just put their trust in that there will be a pill or something that cure cancer when the cure is out there already.

Permalink Reply by Peter David Ebdon on April 7, 2012 at 7:17am Hi Jessi,
Thank you for your reply.
Vegan Witch has done a great job on here, with her posts on cancer and there is so much great information now available, for people to research...
I think that we can take great comfort from the fact that gentic pre-disposition to cancers and other de-generative diseases, accounts for a very small percentage of the population and generally, as commented upon by Professor T Colin Campbell in his wonderful work, The China Study, these diseases, in the main, can be largely kept at bay, through strict observance of a plant-based, whole foods lifestyle...

Hi Peter,
Well done on your recent switching to veganism and your return to tournament winning, i'm not surprised your diet brought about form improvement as I am an amateur snooker/pool player and in the 90's i followed a vegan diet for 6 months and even at my lowly level found i was playing way above my previous level, my brother commented at the time that he'd never seen me play so well. I returned to eating badly though and even took up smoking again just after my dad died of cancer (since gave up in 2002) but your recent experience has given me inspiration to pursue the way of life again. I was rooting for you against Ronnie and was even pleasantly surprised to hear a few lines of Wrapped Up In Time by Marillion as your walk on music, I have been a huge Marillion fan since a teenager in 1983 ... was the irony of 'they take their time' a reason !!!! Anyway, i'd like to thank you for inspiring me to eat vegan again, it was also 2 weeks ago that I had an anxiety attack so i guess my body was warning me to look after myself, i've even started running again and have a goal of running a sub 3 hr marathon as a 40yr+
It was also a shame your gerson therapy promoting badge didn't run into the second session, there were some mindless bigots on twitter bemoaning it contravened a cancer act or something. Have you managed to convince any of the other professionals to go vegan?, I honestly believe any player who does will have far more success than if they didn't.
