30 Bananas a Day!

I was wondering if anyone here has eaten Tomatoes as a Mono meal? I Love tomatoes and a couple of days ago I had 25 tomatoes as a Mono meal. I felt totally fine after.

But then after a couple of hours I felt hungry because tomatoes don't have enough calories. I then partook in my favorite smoothie consisting of Bananas-Mangos-Dates.

Thanks

Cool!  Glad to see that I am not weird. :)

I have done it but only when I get good tomatoes.

Going to grow some this summer so I should be doing lots of mono tomatoe this summer.

I've been eating tomatoes nonstop lately! Especially cherry tomatoes, I can easily eat 15 pints of them in a day...it's good to hear other people enjoy them just as much!

Tomatoes are not even good at this time of year.  LOL!  Wait until you can get fresh heirlooms from the Farmer's Market in August-October.  Or come to my tomato party in September.   I'm growing 12 varieties like I do every year.  I like flavor!

A Tomato party??? I would LOVE to come over if I am invited. :)

I like what your thinking!!

I am in Northern Illinois.  I am having a greens party in May and a tomato party in August.  And everyone who wants to come is invited.  Seriously.  I'm going to post an event as soon as I have the dates nailed down for sure.

ahhh another tomato lover! I've been pigging out on some tomatoes! Cherry and Campari tomatoes are beast

I love tomatoes and sometimes eat about 3-4 in one sitting with other stuff... never thought about eating a mono meal of them. Well a significant sized one anyways. I'll put this on my to-do list for tomato season :D

Michael  Arnstein eats tomatoes by the case. So yes you can eat them as your staple

Whenever I go to "Whole Foods" they have "Heirloom Tomatoes" in all different colors (red, orange, yellow, green, and purple) and I love to I cut a bunch of them into thin triangular slices and eat them mono with a fork.  (It's the most colorful mono meal I have ever experienced :)

Unfortuantely it's expensive ($6.00 for one pound) and they are also super low in calories so I eat them as a snack and not a meal...

Regular tomatoes at the supermarket (or at least the ones where I live) aren't worth eating mono.

Good grief Josh, 12 pounds of tomatoes in one sitting?  That would cost me $72 to do it with the tomatoes I buy and  I could buy 3 fourty pound cases of organic bananas with that much money which is again why I don't eat as many tomatoes as I would like to...  Even the non-organic tomatoes that taste like nothing would be expensive to mono eat.

Time to plant some tomato plants!!!  If you live in an apartment, you can buy a variety that is adapted to a pot and put it on your balcony.
