30 Bananas a Day!

Tonight after dinner as I was plugging my day into cronometer I saw my calories were under 2000 and the fat percentage was about 13%....

Should I ignore it, go to bed slightly hungry and do better tomorrow OR make a quick smoothie that bumps up the calories and evens out the fat % ??

Hm... are you the type to lay in bed thinking about how you're hungry, and will eventually get up to eat? If so, then eat! If you do eat, it may keep you up a bit longer as it's giving you more energy. So you're up a bit longer either way, if your answer to the first question is yes. :p
If you wait until morning, maybe eat soon after you wake so you don't get too hungry and start craving cooked. :)

A good practice that I don't always follow is to have dinner a few hours before bed, so you'll sleep better. :)

+1

can you actually sleep with an empty stomach?

True, but what if it keeps her up? I can't go without eating without getting a splitting head ache. I say eat something/ drink your smoothie, and toss & turn a bit till you eventually fall asleep if you have to....

Hopefully, the pros on this can help. Good question though.

I would make a quick somoothie if I were feeling hungry otherwise you may set your next day up for unhealthy choices.

I'm guessing this is just one day, go to bed and start again tomorrow :-)

Thanks guys! Lesson learned. I dont do well when Im hungry, so I had my banana, orange and kiwi smoothie. Did not sleep well at all! Today I am definitely trying to time things out a little better. Im still trying to get the hang of this... I think my problem is since I work until 10p my dinner is closer to 8:30. But, when Im not at work dinner is anywhere between 5 and 6:30 so by 10 Im pretty hungry.

Today Im making sure I get the majority of calories by dinner, so I'd be ok just grabbing an apple closer to bed time than trying to make up 300 calories. I may also start forcing myself to bed earlier when Im not working, but usually that means Im up wicked early.

Oh well, I know this will all be worth it once I figure out a new routine that works for me and my family (not hcrv). I am one who thrives with structure and routine. :)

Hey Amelia! You might have had a difficult time sleeping because of improper food combining, which can cause uneasy digestion. Here's an article explaining proper food combinations:

I'll check it out!  Thank you =)
