30 Bananas a Day!

So I'm not a raw vegan yet, but I'm working towards it. Today I've been completely raw and i'm noticing that i feel really weak in my arms and don't really have any energy.. I know I haven't starved myself.. I should have eaten around 2000 calories today. At least 15 bananas (of varying sizes), 3 mangos, a few clementines and a few other fruits, a big sallad (a head of romaine lettuce, a few  cherry tomatoes, almost a whole avocado and a bit of cucumber).

So my question is.. will this weakness disappear over time? I was pretty energetic through half the day at work.. almost running everywhere instead of walking haha.. But now i'm suprisingly tired..how come?

What time of day did you have avo and salad in relation to your drop in energy? Overt fat and salads always make me tired.
Oh just a couple of hours ago.. When I came home from work.. Ah I guess that could be it..hmm..

try another day with no overts and see how you feel then...
hmm yeah, thanks for the tip, but it's not a normal kind of tiredness..it's more of a weakness in the muscles, like when you've done a lot of pushups.. Not like when you've had a big meal and is really dizzy and tired.. I'm very focused and clear in the head.
yep, avocado in my salad makes me feel lethargic, I usually have to sleep it off.
stuff often feels weird when you first go raw. it can be deterring. but focus on the good things like your clear head :) it will all pass just stay focused!
you need to give the diet a good two tothree weeks for your body to get the fat out of your blood and to adjust to a lower sodium intake, just do fruit and greens and no overts and then see how you feel
You may feel tired because your body has lots of healing to do. In the beginning, people usually have a detox period and that's what this sounds like to me. If you can, go to bed and rest, and get lots of sleep while you are transitioning to this diet. Good luck!
Are you using nutridiary to calculate your caloric needs? It is essential starting out.
oh no I'm not.. I just try to eat until I feel a bit sick hahah.. My stomach is probably not big enough yet. lots of fruits all day long, mostly bananas, but today i've been drinking a lot of orange and grapefruit juice too, i think it might help to clear out old junk. hmm..

Jordan: yeah it's a bit daunting..

Sweetfruitlover: that's what I'm guessing..also my body is probably not very effective in breaking down and absorbing the nutrients in raw fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately I have to work, but I see this as kind of a trial period. I want to get a bit more used to the diet so it won't be such a big change when summer comes and i can dive right into it... and i'm a bit unpatient to wait that long.. :)
blending dates with water is a delicious way to get your calories in that doesn't overfill your tummy. I would not eat until sick, only til full.
I'm on my 4th week and I sometimes feel dizzy and weak too. I think it's our bodies adjusting. I just tell myself to keep on trucking and try to eat something every one to two hours.
