Love your vids DR! Using the new iLife '11? You like it?

She is the reason why people will continue with the negative, uneducated claims about the Vegan diet. I tell people if they don't believe me about the benefits of a vegan diet, to do their own homework. Then they might pick up Lierre's book and say, "Hey i read this book about why being a vegan is bad for you."

On the back of my card is about 10 vegan websites and they are all cutting edge. I tell people to do their homework and learn how to be objective.

When I worked in the bike shop, people would come in and want a bike that was double/triple the money for not even any performance advantage and in fact, the cheaper model often had a better design/warranty but NOT the status quo appeal of the expensive poser junk. Its a bit like eating road kill and suck'n on mumma goats nipples. Its got status quo appeal unfortunately and its our job, like it or not, to be part of the change for better. Besides, its more fun doing something than doing nothing anyways.

Every person I've met who argues against veganism has been purposefully ignorant/a liar/an addict (undercarbed).

I like the way you kept replaying the quote of "I binged on eggs and dairy every chance I got" and made a big deal about it because it's insane that she could say something like that so casually and that her audiance could hear her say it and not think anything of it.

And saying that the average vegan cheats once a week by eating beef is just unreal. The only vegans I know are vegan for ethical reasons or because they are aware of just how harmful animal products are to the human body and when anyone I know has stopped being vegan (thanks to information like her's) I've noticed that they pretty much always turn to things like goats milk and at least remain vegetarian, and even if they do end up going all the way back to eating meat I still don't think that "beef" would be an option for them.

Lol, I have shared one of yours and one of freelea's. Someone said, "wow 50 bananas a day" then told one of his friends "some girl on marks page eats 50 bananas a day", haha.

lol  that reminds me of the other month when a few of my friends visited a banana grower near by and he said 'Have you seen that girl who eats 50 bananas a day?'..or something like that. Great to hear the words getting out

Haha... ridiculous. I think this part is very telling:
...You’d wake up in the morning and say: “I’m not doing it again, I’m a vegan”, and then you’d go back to your SOY and BROWN RICE, and then that would last for a week and you’d fall off the wagon.

Soy and Brown rice? Were those the staples of her 'vegan' diet? Wow. No wonder she hit a wall. I remember trying to be an uneducated vegan, eating crap like that, and yeah, you fall off the wagon regularly. So all she's proving is that a horribly malnutritioned vegan/vegetarian diet is bad for you. Well, duh. Doesn't mean a well nutritioned one is. Silly girl.
Notice also that she's using 'you' instead of 'I' in her statements, deferring any personal responsibility. Switching those words is a dead giveaway of shifting blame.

You can eat soy and brown rice as your staple and be super healthy but it sounds like Lierre just starved herself on that path anyway and set herself up for her weekly binges.

Its the same as most people eating a SAD diet that 'try and eat healthy'. They just dont know how to eat enough of the healthier options and just go and eat icecream/choc/big macs etc.

Lierre Keith. Used 16 year old mindset and didnt change it to real world action to get the desired results. Now she wrote a book about it.

Im reading her book and in the first page Lierre says 'I was a vegan for 20 years'..WTF?

If this book comes to oz I suspect it just might get its covers ripped accidentally.
