Because he thinks that im not getting enough nutrients and Vitamins from fruit and Vegetables -_- So he has said that i should take Supplements, like Multi plus and Calcium etc. Is this still raw and I need to explain to him how im going to get the max nutritents from eating a raw food diet, Ive also Purchased 80/10/10 So hopefully that helps abit.

Supplements exist to correct the nutritional deficiencies of typical diets. This diet does not require supplements because it provides all the necessary nutrients.
Permalink Reply by DURIANRIDER on February 26, 2012 at 4:17pm Ask your Dad why he supps then? Ask him why he eats food with added supps. Meat that has b12 injections before slaughter. Cereals 'enriched', fruit juice with added vitamins, red bull or other 'energy' drinks with b12 and taurine..
Ask him in a nice way cos your gonna expose his hypocrisy.
'you cant eat healthy cos you wont get enough nutrition so you need to supplement! Supplement just like I do on my SAD diet!'
Permalink Reply by DURIANRIDER on February 26, 2012 at 4:18pm Average person on Mark Sisson's paleo primal diet is taking around 126 supps a day. I only do one supp every few months.
lol!

Permalink Reply by Jelle on February 26, 2012 at 10:33pm One of the best ways is to agree to log your food for a while (say a few weeks) with cronometer.com , fitday.com or nutridiary.com. (I use cron-o-meter, because it it faster in use, but fitday gives better overviews). Make sure to adjust the values for zinc, calcium and sodium a bit, search 30BaD for the values. Then show the reports!!! It would be nice if you convince your dad to do the same for his diet ;)
I do recommend B12 and vitamin D, but I recommend this for everybody regardless of there diet.
Permalink Reply by Greenmama on February 26, 2012 at 5:28pm Your dad is worried. He wants you to be healthy and safe. You are doing something he hasn't been exposed to before and goes against what he has been taught. Plug your daily intake into the cronometer and show him how many nutrients you are getting. He may not understand that fruits have protein. Many people don't know that. Will he watch YouTube videos?--there are many very professional ones, like with Doug Graham or Tim VanOrden talking about nutritional topics with lots of evidence. Also, you can probably get The China Study from your local library.
