Phew…al that holding and holding of the poses, I tried not to become impatient and actually discovered the beneficial effects of it, because the teacher explained the balancing and directing of energy/strength within your body so well. And the class also worked on handstand and hip opening, 2 of the things I want to make progress in.
Love your posts on dancing, Olya! :)
He-he, Aimée, when you went for a walk you were so "old" or so "cold"?? - ah...I just see you corrected it :D
Marcos, I have the same, I find balancing on my stronger, right leg more difficult, I believe this has to do with my core that has more difficulty with working with my left leg, because it is weaker (e.g in a one legged squat) - so it just seems that the standing (strong) leg is weaker.

Yes! I corrected the typo. :) It was a funny one! But maybe it's true. I'm too old to walk in the cold! ;D)

Hi Everyone. All of you Beautiful Blessed Brave Bountiful Beloved Beings! ;D) Hello!
21 Days:
No. :( --> 6:30AM Outdoor Walk (I decided to sleep in instead. But then I woke up at 8:50 feeling "out of sorts" & I had to rush to meditation. I like it better when I wake up early. Even if I'm sleepy.
Yes! --> 9:00AM TM Meditation
Not yet. --> 12:30PM 36 Routine (12mins each of: Strength/Stretch/Inversion)
Not yet. --> 3:00PM TM Meditation
It's only 10:39am right now. So I still have time to finish the routine. But I think I am going to try to run in the park instead of strength training. Maybe a short run on a trail & a long inversion board stretch followed by some simple stretches on a floor mat.

Thank You Universe: I had a great experience meditating online this morning. Twas so lovely. // I had received the best hug this morning. So gentle & pure. // I received a nice thank you email for helping a friend. // I received 2 different messages about money being owed to me -- that I would receive it tomorrow. -- Yay!
Work I Love: Teaching/leading meditation online. :) I just love it! And tonight I will teach conversational English. I love that too! Work one loves is a gift. Truly a gift.

Permalink Reply by Craig Plunkett on April 20, 2012 at 5:35am I'm really impressed at my sudden spike in performance since I started getting enough cals from fruit. I only recently began to take exercise seriously but I've been recording my push-up progress on and off for a while now. I got my 10g of carbs per kg of bodyweight for a measly three days straight and things have just gone crazy.
Previously I was averaging 107 push-ups a day, between 5 sets, it typically looked like this: 20, 20, 20, 20, 27. The most I could do in a row previously was 28, complete with the vein bulging out of the forehead and the cursing.
Today I resolved to do some push-ups because I hadn't done ANY strength training at all since March 20th. It went like this : 39, 33, 30, 30 and 33, totalling a comparatively meaty 165. What the forking fork? Bananas seemed to have hulked me up just by themselves - I've been gaining weight, too, not losing it.
Permalink Reply by Sita on April 20, 2012 at 7:29pm Wow!! That's great progress on the bananas! Congratulations :)

and thnx Olya, I love to start the day with moving. It became a habit thanks to Aimées thread :)
Today:
40 min brisk walking/running
37 min Creative Core Abs with Shiva Rea, training to a nice percussion with a little free dancing in between, loosening up the muscles.
10 min meridian qigong
Green banana smoothie for breakfast after that :)
Yesterday I rented an older movie with Meryl Streep that I never saw. Music of the Heart, a very impressive movie based on a true story. I loved what Isaac Stern said in the interview about the influence of music education on children, that they're able to learn subjects like math and logics so much easier and also that they seem to have more manners. That means living a life that doesn't start with hatred or anger. This is our responsibility to our next generation and to the world.
Loved that :)
