This 30BaD post is for support and inspiration. (-Because I need some! :) & I think others do too.) My goal is to get outside and to exercise as a daily routine. I will log my training as I go. It's mostly yoga, running, dancing, jumping, strength training and powerwalking. I invite you to use this post as your daily log too. Your energy would be of great help to me and to the rest of the 30BaD members. -Let's sweat! ( ';D)
today was rainy and I felt achy all over and almost skipped exercise. Then I remembered a low-impact class at the gym I could take (using light weights, exercise balls, fitness bands, etc.). It's for older people, so really way too easy for me (well, I'm also "older" but much more fit than they were), but it was just enough to work up a bit of a sweat and stretch out my muscles. I felt much better afterward. I'm glad I made myself go as it did do me some good. And tomorrow and Sat. I have intense workouts planned (elliptical and weight training on Friday and running on Saturday) so I should be raring to go after an easy day.
Todays workout will be presented to you in a series of videos....
I decided it was a good day for a run. I was really in the groove, too, it almost felt as if I was being run, fast & effortless:
But then after about 2.5 miles I reached a steep hill and I pushed a little too hard and had to stop a couple of times because I started to feel like this:
By the time I got home I was feeling better and saw that I had run significantly faster than a couple weeks ago. I needed some celebratory music so I put in a CD and danced to this tune:
(sorry, original version did not allow embedding).
Not a bad workout considering I had only 3 hours sleep. Good thing I don't work today...oh, no, the doggies are barking at me to go run and it is POURING out....hmmmm, maybe I will just invite them in to play.
Adrienne, yup my two doggies (well, the dogs I run with, since they are not technically mine but rather my landlords) are always leash free because we stay within the 30 fenced in acres on the farm. :)
Laurie - sounds like you chose just the perfect workout yesterday, good for you!
I knew there were going to be thunderstorms today and I felt that I really REALLY needed to run. So I got up early and drove to the park and just ran until it started raining. I did about 3.5 miles in 37 minutes so I am very happy. After that, this rainy day can't seem to get me down! :-)
What a joyful pic, Aluv. Yes, even rain is beautiful. How else would we get out munchies?
Great vidlog, Fig. Thx for the vicarious journey :)...
Yarr, Holi! That old salt surely twas a treasure trove o' knowledge o' the briney deep.

Europe is different.
People started to think about nature and saving nature early on.
We have alot of law regulations about animal treatment at the farms and they are well let us say getting "closer" to the natural one.
for example cows are free run…
no haven't heard that about the soap and cancer, seeing it's allopathic in nature (addressing a symptom not the cause) I can't imagine how that would work.
