30 Bananas a Day!

This 30BaD post is for support and inspiration. (-Because I need some! :) & I think others do too.)  My goal is to get outside and to exercise as a daily routine. I will log my training as I go. It's mostly yoga, running, dancing, jumping, strength training and powerwalking. I invite you to use this post as your daily log too. Your energy would be of great help to me and to the rest of the 30BaD members. -Let's sweat! ( ';D)

A very active day began early with about 2.5 hrs of heavy weeding by swinging a scythe through countless sometimes 2in diameter tree-like unwanted sunflower plants (in over 100 degree sunny weather).

Eve:  group Beachbody class of Insanity Pure Cardio, 40min, followed by Cardio Abs, 16m

I'll probably look like that above cat tomorrow :)

Hi! Today I did 56 min of the 75min Ubuntu yoga class you posted, WL. Loved it! Pity i couldn't finish; I got a call and had to leave.

The part before crow pose i couldn't do and the abs part was hard, but did all the rest of the class :) Good pace too!

Will be away most of the weekend, wish you all a happy one! Enjoy your Zumba Party Aimée! ;)

Hi everyone!  22`

I've been spending a few hours a day in the pool, which is just beyond awesome.  My plan is to carve out some time to go swimming by myself at night after I put the kids to sleep and to record some basic Kundalini Yoga videos today and tomorrow.

** Mera: Hello you! So happy to see you! :) I'm so glad you are here.

** WL: Do you look like that cat yet? ;D) This morning & yesterday I felt like that cat. But a big part of my job is done. Below is are pics of the room I totally fixed & put together.

** Sita: Thank you Sita! I hope so too, because it will be the last class on my 5 class "card pack"  -- I will have to figure out what is next that will keep me inspired to move vigorously & pull me out of my comfy shell.

** HI EVERYONE! I hope you are doing SUPER. :) Happy Summer!

My knee is feeling a lot better, but I still haven't tested it with running.

Biking seems to not bother it at all.

Here are some photos of me climbing a hard route:

me pretending to be a photographer:

Samuel, that looks crazy scary! ;D) I don't think I could do that. I would have to take lessons first on a sponge wall that looks like a rock. ;) Then build up to rock level.

Glad your knee is better!

Wow! That's absolutely fabulous Aimée!! Right out of a chic interior design magazine. That must have been fun working on too :)

Love the pictures Samuel, glad your knee is better :)

I came back here for a quick post (I just saw this on Fb): Maybe you all have seen this one already - I didn't because I mostly go directly to the thread - , but for those who didn't see it either, some inspiration for the weekend:

Thanks Sita! It's the second room I worked on this year. Now I just have to finish some more clearing out & a little work on the kitchen/bathroom -- & then I'm done for a while. For some reason, this house work (changing, purging, fixing, organizing, cleaning) is never done!

Have a great weekend!

Just finished my second Insanity workout! Can't believe how much sweat I was dripping all over the floor of my garage.

Yay, Betty! ;D) Xx!

Climb on, Sam.  Knee must be feeling better.

Way to Dig Deep, Betty.  Did you see the Insanity group we've got here on the site?

Yeah, that flying pigeon asana was beyond me too, Sita.  And my Crow was so rusty that I fell on my head twice!  No danger of damage there though...

Beautiful pad, Luv.  Just like a model!  Very sleek and modern yet comfy.

Play:

"7 week" pullup program, mixing pulls/chins/neutrals

5/6/6/5/5

Incline DB Press 40/15; 45/7

then out the door to the theatre to see the new Brave by Pixar.  It's a decent enough little film, but far below the high bar the studio has set in the past.

then back home for more iron work:

-4min  turkish getups, switching arms each 30sec, 25# DB

-16min, 32x tabata, kettlebell-based one-arm DB swings, hi-pulls, cleans, and snatches

progressing from 25/40/45/50# each round

-Landmine Twists 70/12

-Smith machine crunches (just learned about this clever move in M&F mag) 50/17; 80/15

-Back SQ 95/20

Hello Hello Hello Beloved Beings! :)

Today was great. A short jog to the park, then I climbed stairs for about 20 minutes & after that I walked for about 25 minutes. I did better today with drinking more water. So all-around it was a good day.

I hope everyone is having a SUPER weekend.

Later gators! :)
