Interesting observation. It general I would say that it is true. I've lived a very eclectic life. I feel like I am a new person with new interests every 5 years or so. Not because I lose interest per se, but because new things come my way & I have to roll with it! ;D)

Pretty far up in the peleton, working from time to time.
I got 10;th.
If I wanna better than 10;th I should probably not work so hard in the front, and save myself to the ending, but that's boring, especially cuz this is more like a "training".
I'm gonna try some new stuff next race, maybe try if im a OK sprinter (i dont think so :-D)
Or save some power and attack the last 2-3km;s.
So many options, so exciting... Cycling is just something else!
Have a great weekend

Then, I got home & turned on the computer & there you are!
Congrats on all of the good cycling news you are creating.
Keep us posted on the attacks & sprints. It sounds exciting!
Permalink Reply by Sita on May 29, 2012 at 6:17pm Thanks Aimée, focus on work has delayed until today; my son had to prepare a presentation so needed all the space in the house for his project and objects. It was fun though, could help him with some of it :) He will be moving out again this summer as soon as he found a house, so all will be different from then on. Will be reorganizing and decluttering again. I will follow your list from your Sunday blogpost!!! Loved it, very helpful for me!
And thanks WL, thinking of you regularly :) My health is getting better again with rest and also now that I apply some Chinese medical views. I hope to fortify my Spleen by warming foods. (banana island didn't help unfortunately)
Kept working out in the mornings:
Friday
50 min Joyous Unfolding and Rejuvenation yoga class, which I thought was a bit too easy for intermediate, but yet it was intense with the focus on breath and movement.
Saturday
35 min brisk walking
18 min Daily Maintenance Yoga Practice
Sunday
4km brisk walking/running
25 min Short Power Flow yoga class
Monday
55 min 3-week Toning Challenge Pranavayu yoga class (just for today)
a 5km forest walk in the afternoon, easy, on flipflops :) no ear phones, just listening to what the birds and the trees had to tell.
Today very light exercises:
21 min Yoga Siesta for the spine
10 min meridian qigong
The weather was perfect last week, now it is cooler and no blue skies, some rain is expected, but that's also nice.
Have a great week everyone! Love to all of you :)

That is great! I love to hear that. :D) It makes me feel like I am not alone. And that others think about these things too.

That sounds so good!
Permalink Reply by ♥ AimeeLovesYou on May 30, 2012 at 7:15am Hello Brilliant Beings!
Today I am a sweaty mess. Yesterday I was too. It's been hot & humid in NYC. It feels like it happened overnight! I'm trying to drink more water. I really feel like I need it.
Today is laundry at a local laundromat. After that I'll be back home, scrubbing mildew off of the bathroom ceiling, and doing other house cleaning activities that will take some sweat & elbow grease. This will be my exercise for today.
Permalink Reply by Sita on May 30, 2012 at 7:16pm Good luck with the mildew! Somebody said somewhere that vodka is great for that :)
Permalink Reply by ♥ AimeeLovesYou on May 31, 2012 at 12:53am Ah! Good tip.
I was using rubbing alcohol yesterday. It worked pretty good.
Next time I will use vodka!
Permalink Reply by Sita on May 30, 2012 at 7:14pm 4km brisk walking/running
27 min Fire and Water Vinyasa Flow with Shiva Rea (great class!!)
Aimée, yes, I think about these things a lot too ;) I purchased this key ring some years ago to remind me:
The leaf on the key ring is a tulasi leaf, it is a holy plant that is worshipped in Hindu arati. In one of the stories about this healing and holy plant it is said that Tulsi was actually a gopi who was madly and truly in love with Lord Krishna ♥ (love is all you need....:)
Permalink Reply by ♥ AimeeLovesYou on May 31, 2012 at 12:56am what a great key chain & sweet story. ;)
