Yes, I agree with your teacher. Classical music puts me in such a balanced state of mind.
When I was a youth, I used to sit in cafes that were near the University of Berkeley California.
All of the cafes near the college campus would play classical music while the students worked. (Maybe it's not like that now, but it was 25 years ago.) As a young person I felt so good in that environment. The silence of the students, the relaxed atmosphere, the uplifting & soothing music -- I think this is why I still thrive in those environments. It feels like home.

Keep going with spiritual podcasts, MP3s, audio books, & videos. There are so many.
Byron Katie, Adyashanti, Tolle, Caroline Myss, Nisargadatta, Ram Dass, Krishnamurti, Alan Watts, Isha Judd, Osho, Gangaji, etc.
It's a good practice to have. It's like keeping you in the "enlightening" conversation. It keeps you in that state of mind. (Just like classical music.) ;)
Permalink Reply by Sita on May 22, 2012 at 10:54pm Oh, thank you for the list of podcasts! So nice you wrote about the atmosphere in the cafe's near Berkeley. I can imagine I'd feel at home too :)
Enjoy your busy day! XOX
- and thank you for feeling that I'm much better! I am! :) Love you.

Permalink Reply by Olya on May 23, 2012 at 12:45am Hey guys,
I'm back again:) I was away camping. Soooo amazing to feel the connection with mother nature and all it's creatures. And of course watching the stars at night...
Anyway, jogged 4 miles today so far.
Have an awesome day everybody!!!
Permalink Reply by ♥ AimeeLovesYou on May 23, 2012 at 11:59pm Oh lucky you, Olya!
Camping is probably my number one favorite thing to do. :)

Hello Beloved Beings!
Today is my last day of rolling around like a tumbleweed. Tomorrow I will be back home again.
I am also looking into buying a pair of shoes online, to try a morning jogging routine. :) Oo la la.
These vegan running shoes are less than 49 dollars online, so it might end up being these...
Permalink Reply by Sita on May 24, 2012 at 7:26pm The shoes look good Aimée ! Hello again Olya! Nice walk :)
Yesterday
25 min Surya Morning Flow yoga class
10 min meridian qigong
Today
37 min Water Dance yoga class
7 min 24-forms Taichi
Still mainly eating bananas+smoothies.
I will be a bit less at the computer, hoping to get more things done in the house and focus on work, but will keep logging the workouts regularly :)
The weather is lovely here in Holland, it's like a summer holiday! ♥

Permalink Reply by Windlord on May 25, 2012 at 4:27pm yes, Olya, there's something magical about a star filled night. I live in a big city usually where our light pollution snuffs many out, but I still relish their twinkle. For some reason I've never fully understood I really seem to like Orion.
Hope you're feeling better, Sita, with your recent days of rest.
Back safely in the Big Apple, Luv? Those kicks are kool. No problems with ventilation there! Can you wear them comfortably bear? What's the drop from heel to toe?
Recent plays:
Martial arts, running, sprinting, weights including Sumo Deadlifts about 190 for 7 reps and Power Cleans 100 for 7. Another fun weight move could be called Landmine Twists, where I stick a bar in a corner at an angle, hold it with hands together right below the collar, and turn from side to side using only the core to lift and turn the bar. Add weights to the upper bar end, which usually weighs 45# on it's own, as needed.
latest CC:
-Close Pushup 2/13,13
-1/2 pullups 2/10, 10
-Ground Assisted 1 Leg SQ 1/10,14; 2/10,11
-Hanging Bent Knee Raise 2/15, 15 (repeated, so moving on)
-1/2 HSPU (off about a 6.5 inch riser--full will be 5.5 in.) 2/14,12
-Head Bridge 2/20, 20 (after suffering with the angled ones for so long, I was scared that these would be even tougher; but they're actually significantly easier I found)
Permalink Reply by Olya on May 26, 2012 at 1:02am Yes, it's magical Windlord:) I'm always looking forward to go to nature.
Anyway, plenty of good thoughts, thanks to Aimee:))
**Went out to salsa club with girls - it was fun!
**Went for a long walk with my sister and nephews, and niece.
Otherwise trying to catch up with sleep:)) Because when I don't feel rested, I don't feel like doing anything.
Love, joy & plenty of energy for your workouts!

Hope all is well on this glorious day! In NYC it's rainy-sunny.

Back safely in the Big Apple, Luv?
Yep. :) Back at home. Glad to be back.
Busy day today. Tonight I am going to go & help rescue a bird at 11pm (after the store closes).
You can read more about it here.

Can you wear them comfortably bear?
I haven't ordered them, but I hope so. If not, I'll wear 'em with my toe socks. ;)
What's the drop from heel to toe?
It should be pretty flat. They are called "barefoot ultra pure running" shoes.
This is how the store labels them:
Permalink Reply by Windlord on May 28, 2012 at 6:48am Beautiful and true "Sunday" thoughts, Luv. That's one of the things I admire most about you, that you live so intuitively and are always open to the next challenge or opportunity, even if you're comfortable where you are.
Good luck with your feathered friend liberation mission!
