My morning wo:
55 min Yoga for Blissfulness, a moderate yoga class. I woke up very tired, (although I had a beautiful dream) so a moderate level class seemed better than an intermediate. At the end I added a headstand during the long sivasana.
Skipped the meridians, really wanted breakfast! So had a green banana/blueberrie/dates smoothie :)
How great you work there Aimée. A few years ago, after being ill and giving up acupuncture practice I wanted to do some work that was easy, so I worked in the health food store around the corner. It was ideal, did it part time, 3 days a week for 1,5 years. I liked it very much, selling good food to people :)
And Meghan, yes she's inspiring every time. I don't know if I'll ever be able to reach that level, but she makes it fun to work for it. And sometimes I need to see an old lady who still practices yoga so I won't give up :)
Permalink Reply by ♥ AimeeLovesYou on May 16, 2012 at 7:18am Sita, we will be the change we want to see in the world!
We will be that old lady who does what she loves & does what inspires her & doesn't stop! :)
Have you seen this movie:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0481269/
It's on Netflix.
She is 71 years old (with beautiful long gray-streaked hair), still dancing & touring & looking so divine.
I want to be like her! ;)
Here she is: (obviously not dancing in this picture)
Permalink Reply by Sita on May 16, 2012 at 6:01pm Wow, she looks great!!! So beautiful! Thank you!
I'll try to get netflix here. It seems possible now via VPN or something. Will check it out.
Permalink Reply by Sita on May 18, 2012 at 11:42pm Pity, I don't know enough about these things. All sounds quite illegal so I'll just wait until Netflix will be available in Europe.
I had what you might call an epic day Saturday last. I cycled 45 miles to the foot of Mount Baldy, then cycled another 13 miles to 6,500 feet and then hiked the rest of the way to 10,000 feet. Intense!

That is fantastic! Good job!
Permalink Reply by Sita on May 16, 2012 at 6:03pm Let's go for it Aimée!
Just finished
62 min The Dual Nature of Grace anusara yoga class. Hanuman pose is almost there :) Handstand, no…,going into wheel from standing pose, no…. So I'll just keep practicing to gain more and more strength and flexibility in the upperbody.
Yum….time for a Smoothie-ie-ie-ie………

Permalink Reply by Fredric Sjöberg on May 16, 2012 at 7:46pm A little bit late, but this is from sunday,
http://connect.garmin.com/activity/177751372
This race has been every year for the last 104years, so it's one of the oldest races in that "way".
2km HARD laps. Really hard. :-D
15laps, 30km.
So, from the start; really hard pace, like always on gp-races with short laps. I was in the front and close to the front but I lost my good position in one turn and then it's pretty hard to chase back up there since ur smoked if u go too hard chasing after the group, since it's much uphill..
I think I had the capacity to hang in there, but I didnt. I was too afraid to put too much effort in too early, and then it went from there...
So.. nothing to be angry about. :-D
I was in a group with 2-4guys, some of them dropped out and came back again.. ? :D
I finished 9th. I mean, If u think about it, it's pretty good. It's my third season on the bike, and guys I'm riding with/against have been on the bike much longer than that. :)
I will put some pictures from the race on my page, have a look :-)
Have a good day, all.
