Finally! I finally started my yoga class card. Today was session 1 of 5.
It was so great to be back in a group class. The teacher was excellent. The style was vinyasa.
I had a really great time & I am so happy that I pushed through all of my fears/laziness & took myself to class! ;D)
Sometimes it's hard for me to get a ball rolling, but once I do, I can usually roll it for a while.
So I think today was a much needed shove to get the ball rolling. :) Things are now in gear.
I'm going to try to do sessions on MyYogaOnline, as well as take a weekly group class for either yoga or dance.
I need a daily routine as well as a regular group class to keep me energized, inspired & in-motion. ;)
I have that green one at the top :) Would love to join!
Wonderful Aimée! Once you feel the benefits I'm sure it won't feel as an effort to keep the routine. If I would have to start working at 8 o'clock in the morning, I don't know what would happen to mine, but I think I would try to get up early for it. I want to keep my yoga practice for ever! :)
4km brisk walking, some running.
10 min meridian qigong. No time for yoga today. One day of rest is allowed :)
A busy day, picking up new boxes bananas and dates, veggies. From there visiting my mom and sister, which is an hour drive. Then more errands and unexpectedly my eldest son came bye with a friend from Long Island which was so nice. He flew over for the weekend. And I already got my mother's day present too :)
Also played the piano and worked on the meridian qigong sequence later in the day, + some art study.
4 km brisk walking, more running than yesterday. I don't think this will improve soon, but I don't mind. I take it easy with this, see what happens over time.
32 min Sweetened with Core with Meghan Currie. Felt my knee a bit in camel pose, so didn't try to get my head to the floor. Pity, because I wanted to know how far I'd get. 2 years ago I found camel pose difficult, now I love it! How willing our bodies are, when we take good care of it :)
Have a sunny Sunday, all!
- Just ate my first watermelon for breakfast this morning, but i must say I miss the bananasmoothie. Will have it later :) -
I love your passion, Sita!-->" I want to keep my yoga practice for ever! :)"
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO YOU! :) What a gift. What a nice day.
Ah, good. Thank you for sharing your class. I will take it today. I'm a little intimidated by the word "fiery" in the class description. But I will try it!
Today I am a little sore from the vinaysa class yesterday. I guess it means I woke up some of my sleeping muscles. ;D) That's a good thing. Now if I can just stay awake!
And thank you! :) It was a wonderful and peaceful day.
I hope you enjoyed the class, hope it eased the muscle soreness. Actually I got some from it, probably because of the side planks+knee to triceps exercises.
Today I thought to take a longer yoga class, but it was so lovely outside, so I didn't skip the walk and took a shorter class after that:
4 km brisk walking, some running
37 min Taking Flight Strength Flow with Kreg Weiss.
10 min meridian qigong
Loved you Sunday blog post Aimée! :)
Thanks for reading the post & thanks for letting me know you liked it. :) thank you thank you.

I liked Megan's class a lot. I think her energy is so magnetic. She seems so present to what she is doing. It really draws me in.
Hello Mighty Magical Beings! :)
Today I feel overheated for some reason. (high body temp & sleepy)
So today it will just be work & errands & an early to bed bedtime.
I'm hoping to be in bed with the lights out at 8:30PM. (*fingers crossed*)
I hope you all are hopping around like happy bunnies. :) See you tomorrow...
Hope you'll feel better today, Aimée!
My morning wo:
55 min Yoga for Blissfulness, a moderate yoga class. I woke up very tired, (although I had a beautiful dream) so a moderate level class seemed better than an intermediate. At the end I added a headstand during the long sivasana.
Skipped the meridians, really wanted breakfast! So had a green banana/blueberrie/dates smoothie :)
How great you work there Aimée. A few years ago, after being ill and giving up acupuncture practice I wanted to do some work that was easy, so I worked in the health food store around the corner. It was ideal, did it part time, 3 days a week for 1,5 years. I liked it very much, selling good food to people :)
And Meghan, yes she's inspiring every time. I don't know if I'll ever be able to reach that level, but she makes it fun to work for it. And sometimes I need to see an old lady who still practices yoga so I won't give up :)
Sita, we will be the change we want to see in the world!
We will be that old lady who does what she loves & does what inspires her & doesn't stop! :)
Have you seen this movie:
It's on Netflix.
She is 71 years old (with beautiful long gray-streaked hair), still dancing & touring & looking so divine.
I want to be like her! ;)
Here she is: (obviously not dancing in this picture)
Wow, she looks great!!! So beautiful! Thank you!
I'll try to get netflix here. It seems possible now via VPN or something. Will check it out.
Pity, I don't know enough about these things. All sounds quite illegal so I'll just wait until Netflix will be available in Europe.
