I started my "Rvlf trip,,a month and a half ago,,before i was vegetarian,,and before that hi fat raw food,,for 2years.and before that vegetarian for about 5 years.
i do 1 hr cardio evry day,,and 40 minuts til 1.30 min weightlifting,,+yoga in the morning.i work giving deep tissue massages,,(tuff ones)
when i started this diet,,i could hardly come over 2500 cal.
where i live now is banana the only real option,,so i ve been making that a staple,,lately usuíng more dates,,tu raise the calories to about 3500-4000 a day,,i dont use nut or seeds,,an occasionaly small avocado some times ,,for my cravings,,not every day.
my diggestion was never really great ,till the moment..i had light constipation on vegetarian diet
i have two or 3 bowel movements a day,,some times to little.its a lot better than before
i do proper food combinations!!and mono meals most
last week i have really bad gases ,going on in my guts,,specially during night time,,lossing precious hours of sleep.
i try to use probiotics,but i dont see any difference..getting a bit desperate....
any idea how to really improve digestion????
yes,,they are ripe and organic!!i do drink a lot of water!!my urine is crystal clear,,
when i use medjool dates i blend them directly with water,,
and when i use deglet nour dates i soak them before,,using tmen in datorade

Your body is producing a bacteria in the gut to digest the banana fibre (a good thing) but it is 'living in the 18th Century with bad sanitation'.
Water will assist it is getting rid of its waste products.
in the late evening i normally dont drink so much water,,cause i already have to go to toilet abot 3 times per night!!
during the day a drink al lot!!!
OK on the water :). You may have diluted your minerals too much.
Have you tried celery in the evening? Celery (helps balance the sodium and known to reduce night peeing)
With an increase in bacteria comes a lot of cleaning out as they produce substances that 'housekeep' the cells of the colon, clearing out unhealthy cells. These may be fermenting and a little more speedy transit would assist.
Dates don't agree with me so I stopped eating them on a regular basis. They definitely changed how I dealt with water and messed with my electrolyte balance.
it might be a cleaning process,,yet is quiet,,disturbing.
its get worst with dates,,and when i eat banana more than one meal.(2000 calories)
still i need all the calories,,and i would push up even more!!!
yet we have no mango avaiable,,so banana is the only high calorie fruit avaable here!!so dates is easy calories..
i use celery on daily basis
and green leafs,,and some alfalfa sprouts
also, are you sure your dates are really raw? If not, that could explain these problems...
they seem to be really fresh,,,just imported from israel,,nothing added.

you gulping your food?if you are doing smoothies chew them well,don't just gulp them down,this can make you gassy.
gently massage you tummy,lying down working anti clockwise around your colon this will help to dispel the gas.
I am not very experienced with dates but from what i know they are sometimes steamed... I would try to contact the producers and find out if they are heat treated in any way... I have eaten non raw dates in the past and they gave me a stomach ache... which is not the same as gas but was still very unpleasant...
How long have you been eating more dates? How long have you had the gas?
I am out of ideas from personal experience :) I hope you find a solution soon.
Suffering gas myself today from eating some grapes late last night. I think it was a bad move as things are very smelly, but I slept well.
thanks for your insight,,,i will drink even more water!!!and run more!! i do not use any supplements ,,now ,since 1 month ,,before i used natural whey protein,,rice protein...spirulina.but i gave them up,as i cant enjoy anything dry anymore.i eaven hav e 2 lbs of hemp protein organic in my fridge..but i dont use it.
only have some probiotics,,but they dont seem to make any difference..
