30 Bananas a Day!

Serving up raw food at a Sea Shepherd benefit, Australia

At Byron Bay, on Sunday 31st October, I had the opportunity to sell organic raw food to 300 sea shepherd devotees. I had vegetable soup (people were complaining they wanted hot soup!), 'spaghetti' bolognaise and 'meat' balls, Pad Thai and salad, black sesame and sunflower bread, 'cheese' cake, chocolate cream pie. It was a lot of work for 1 person and took me a few days to prepare but went well I thought.

One very funny half-drunk guy towards the end wanted free left-overs because 'everything has been sitting around all night getting cold'. I explained to him that it was cold when I first arrived because it was all RAW hahahaha!!!!

I am going to do a 60th birthday bash for myself in a few months and call it the 'Raw-ing 60s'!

Nice Menkit. I like how Byron bay was once a whaling town and now it turns out 300+ people to a sea shepard event. Its a good sign of the times.
