I have a deep love for hemp, sesame, chia and flax seeds. Sometimes I have them whole, sometimes hulled, sometimes in the form of strained milk.
I have been thinking. Are we supposed to eat the hulls of seeds? Aren't the hulls there to protect the inner seed? If so, that would mean it is probably quite difficult for our bodies to break down. Thoughts?
What's more - none of us would dream of eating a banana peel.
