30 Bananas a Day!

I am trying to get the crap out of my hcrv diet that I brought with me from my high-fat, regular ole raw diet. Just wondering about experiences with both seaweed and nut'l yeast. I cut out salt about 3 weeks ago but have been eating seaweed and am wondering if that means I even cut salt out! And nutritional yeast- why am I holding onto it? I think I consider it a source of B-12 and protein, but I have a sneaking suspicion it's probably doing more harm than good. Been using lemon and herbs on my salads, no oil, am lowering my fat intake every day (mostly in the form of avocados, another pit fall of my prior raw diet)- I feel like I am so moving in the right direction. I'd like to know if anyone else uses these ingredients and if you did in the past and don't now, I am interested in your experience. I know to go with how my body feels, but at this point and after sooo many years of tuning out my body, I need external input. Thanks in advance!

Thank you so much- will check it out!!! :)

When I stopped eating seaweed and nutritional yeast for a few weeks, and then tried them both out again to see what would happen, I felt absolutely gross...too hot, dry, salty.  They just didn't seem like food anymore.  Same thing happens when I consume salt.  I figure my body's negative reaction is a pretty good reason not to eat these things.

I eat kombu and wakame in small quantities, raw. A friend of mine is from Japan and they eat it all the time. Also in okinawa btw. I know there is salt in it, and oceans are polluted, but i like the taste quite a bit. Maybe it has some stuff in it that is also beneficial
I've used both in the past, but now I'm disgusted by it. I don't think it's real food for humans.
