Ya our 4th was an unnassisted birth in the water, a horse trough in our kitchen, by far the best experience and by far the safest for both Mom and baby. :)

I highly recommend reading 'Reclaiming Our Health' by the John Robbins. The most empowering and important book for any woman to read i.m.o.

Look up lotus birth, we did this too, and look up unnassisted birth.

Best Wishes!!! XO
thank you soo much for this info <3 did you youtube your birth, bc for some reason i remember hearing ab a horse trough.lol.
No, but a horse trough by rubber made is just 70 bucks compared to renting for $200plus shipping and all the work involved with setting it up, and the plastic liner can't be good, leaching plastic. A local feed store should have one. I liked it much better too, sturdy sides, dark inside meant more privacy. Plus the kids love playing with it now and tell all their friends our daughter was born in it. lol. btw 'Reclaiming Our Health' has all the statistics on why home birth is safest and these same reasons go for why unnassisted home birth is even more safer than having someone else there that thinks that they are responsible for your birth. We had 1 hospital, 2 homebirth with Doc and midwife and last unnassisted.
