30 Bananas a Day!

its getting very very cold here and only now am i feeling the effects of not consuming warm dinners...

Every time i have breakfast or dinner i have to have a hot bath so that i can defrost....

surely this is not healthy???? my fruit and greens are outside my fridge, i dont know what else to do...

my body is struggling to maintain my core temp when i put kilos of freezing food in me... anybody else in my boat or am i the only person suffering with this?

Yes Me!  After having some tests done it turns out for me it's due to adrenal exhaustion and so sticking with raw will help me in the long run,  however I always drink warm/hot water and it helps if you slightly warm your food- remember you can eat your food up to 42deg - hope this helps - also check out which foods are warming and which foods are cooling.  Good luck.

Had not seen these videos -- thank you for posting.  Great videos (and funny)!

that first vid of Victoria and Michael is so funny!

Lol, I know, aren't they great! :)

You should probably eat more calories!  I eat more then I used to and am warmer eating lfrv then cooked, if you are cold I would advise eating more!!!  Also, do you have to keep your fruits in your fridge?  I don't!  They ripen better out of the fridge.  You could drink warm/hot (but not too hot or you might burn your mouth) water instead of cold to warm you up.  I have also had experiences in the past where I wasn't eating enough or drank a huge frozen fruit smoothie when it was cold outside and had take a hot shower to warm back up, but when I eat a lot I rarely get cold!

Hope you find a solution that works for you!

Excess carbs get burned off as body heat. Start eating!

That was actually the first thing I noticed when I started my fruity journey - I stopped being cold!!!!! Make a big banana smoothie or a datorade when you're cold, and in 10 minutes you won't be! Believe me!

I was the coldest person on earth before this diet - I wore jeans and jackets when everyone around was wearing shorts and flip flops.

Here is another good one, Dr. D talks about warmth:

When I started this lifestyle I had similar problems. I would wake up and be fine but as soon as I ate something I would start shivering uncontrollably for an hour at least. It lasted for almost a month, but then went away. I think it was mostly just a detox symptom because after a couple months I had a very constant body temperature, noticeably warmer than before. Just wait it out, it'll pass. =] Eating more calories so your body has extra to use as heat can't hurt either!
