I am about to go raw for 100 Procent and need a little tip for during my work time.
for breakfast i have lots of time to make a good fruity meal with lots of fresh bananas.
but during my worktime it's pretty difficult to take that time.
i thought about preparing a shake at home already to take with.
but i have heard that a shake is supposed to get drunk right after preparing.
has anyone of you recommendations or ideas how i can eat/drink raw during a quick lunch time??
I do a container with three pounds of oranges pre-peeled and pre-sliced. I always bring a hand or two of bananas. I make a salad as well with greens, celery, 1/4 of an avocado mashed and mixed with lemon juice for the dressing, and some herbs. When I work I am out of the house for 13.5 hours, so I have to bring a lot of food. When I get home I eat more bananas or a banana date shake.
The container is a really good idea. I was trying to wonder how I'd deal with my Sundays (out of the house for 13 hours as well, because of college classes' schedule) and I think I will adopt this + add some dates.
I do carry something like 20 lbs of food in my back pack. I get the locking containers from the store. I have had fruit juice seepage from inferior containers in the past. Smelling like rancid watermelon juice is no good. ;P
lol, well I don't plan on carrying 20 pounds. I'm sitting down all day focusing on school work.
I was thinking more in like 20 dates and 7-8 oranges just to hold me until I get back home and can nom on a big salad :)
yup a good backpack is order and try for variety !! gorilla has a great idea with the oranges! just take a few extra minutes to prepare things and it becomes much less of hassle to toss skins away
Less weight in the pack as well, eh.
