30 Bananas a Day!

Since transitioning from cooked vegan to raw vegan I have gained 10 pounds!
Each day I was feeling increasingly more bloated and groggy.

I am now following the 80/10/10 (on day 2) and I feel great. I have energy to work out and a clear mind.

Could anyone tell me from their personal experiences at what rate you loose weight on the 80/10/10?

I really want to fit back into my clothes and until now things have seemed hopeless.

Thanks so much!

Congratulations, thats great. I was high fat raw vegan when I found LFRV and decided to give it a try. I was getting good results and the weight was coming off slow, steady and sure and then I added an old favorite exercise back into my day. Now I jog whenever I feel like it. The weight loss and body tightening has increased nicely. Finding an activity that you like and doing it moves you into a new level of health & wellness. Enjoy the journey :)
I am also interested in the answer.
It seems the more you follow811, eliminate salt, and have simple meals(peferably mono) the better the digestion, thus the more energy you have, the more you could move, once I did that the more I lost, like crazy.
This is absolutely the truth. Cutting out the salt and spices is essential. My weight loss started after an initial water retention of aroun 7lbs. After the first two weeks, the water weight disappeared.
Make sure you're eating enough calories, use Cron-o-meter to track them. I eat now on average 2800-3000 per day, exercise for 1 hour vigorously, and I have reached my goal weight in only 3 1/2 months. I only had 10lbs to lose, so it wasn't so difficult, but 811 will get you where you want to be.
It is important, though, to not focus so much on weight loss. Rather focus on how 80/10/10 gives you clarity of mind, perfect digestion, enormous energy, soft skin....etc. The health benefits far exceede anything you can imagine!
I have not cut out the salt yet..its been the hardest part.
This is my first time trying lfrv. I became vegan in January and lost no weight. Then I started eating fruit about six weeks ago and I have lost 12 pounds. I am 5'1" and went from 137 to 125. A big difference appearance-wise! I haven't exercised, but I don't have a desk job and I am on the go from morning till night. (I know I should exercise and went for my first run last night. I also got a hoop.)
I know I was curious about weight loss too my first few days because it was one of the main motivators that got me through the initial detox. So I hope this helps!
Good luck!
Two lbs. a week until you hit ~7% bf.
For a female the bf is naturally going to be higher—maybe 12%?
But I think 2 lbs a week is hard to maintain. At first it is easy because of the water weight, but long term seems difficult. Maybe it depends on where you are starting from. I have only lost a pound or two since the initial loss. But I am not exercising. :(
How do you find out your body fat?
Check with your gym and see if they offer fat testing. Sometimes a hydrostatic testing semi travels around from gym to gym. Also google DEXA or DXA scan for your area.
I didn't find 2lbs. a week that hard, but maybe it's because I was skateboarding two hours five days a week and spending about a half hour five days a week at the gym doing strength training. But I wasn't 100% raw then either, and had I been I undoubtedly would've accelerated my fat reduction.

There are a number of methods of determining body fat percentage.
Wow! That's a good workout! I am trying to find some room in my life for exercise, but so far I haven't managed to. I would love to see what could happen to me if I got moving.
Maybe weight loss rate is also dependent on your sex?
Thanks for the link. I'm curious now.
