When I was on SAD diet (or in my case SED - E stands for European) I could easily sleep for 10 hours a day so I would have no problem following the 811 sleep guidelines BUT since sticking to HCRV I am struggling to get that much sleep. Why is that? And is it a problem if I only get 6 or 7 hours' sleep? This is not an insomnia issue or stress or anxiety, I just don't need that many hours spent asleep. At weekends I may get a 20-minute power nap on the recliner sofa but I wouldn't class that as proper sleep. It used to be quite normal for me to stay in bed until 10 or 11 o'clock in the morning at weekends but I can NOT do that anymore. Also, sleeping in the afternoon for 1-2 hours at weekends was also a regular habit of mine when being on SED. So what do you guys think could be a problem? Is it really a problem at all? Thanx!!!
