Hey guys, I don't know if this is a silly question but...I've been trying to incorporate more greens into my diet lately and they've been making me feel EXTREMELY ill - like, keeps-me-up-at-night sick... I'm not sure what to do :-/
Has anyone experienced this/anyone have any insight? I almost thought I woudn't be able to eat today (honestly from stomach pains), but I'm currently eating some melon and I feel totally fine.
Are you eating salads with lots of different ingredients, or keeping it simple with mono meals or two ingredients? Have you tried green smoothies? Smoothies are nice because they are really simple and therefore easier on your stomach and your digestion. Banana spinach is my favorite..
I've been trying to keep it to mono meals (or occasionally like, some avocado thrown in)... I don't have a food processor/blender so no smoothies unless I go to a juice bar :(
Its really worth the money to buy a blender. And you dont need one of those fancy $400 machines. I think mine cost me $40 and it does the job just fine!
im havin a green smoothie right now- spinach banana and medjool date, it helps if it makes me feel stomach achey if u eat greens on their own because the blending "pre-digests" the fibers in greens that might make some people sensitive if their digestion isnt the best :)

oh yes, i love my blender, it isnt a fancy one either. some day i will get a vitamix lol.

Are they tender leafy greens? No Kale or Spinach?
Some spinach and kale, but not much. Kale tends to upset my stomach too.
