When I get the blues, I try to implement the advice of Johny Cash:
When you got the blues...get rhythm.
BTW, I featured this:D
I am honoured:)
Yeah Johny Cash is the man! Wish your are here and dance on it with me:).
Great idea! I love the "NOT ENOUGH CARBS!!!!!" part especially, it's so true! Every time I'm in a bad mood, feeling tired other than at night, thinking about negative things, I notice it's directly related to the fact that I'm hungry! Literally every time, without fail.
I also have a positive experience I would like to share-
I really want to be a health/fitness coach, and my father and a security guard at my college are letting me use them as case studies! My father is iffy about going 100% and we won't be able to sit down and really discuss his goals in depth til Thursday, but he's been incorporating more fruit meals/snacks and has lost 10lbs!!! With the security guard, whose name is Nate, it's a little more difficult because he's coming from SAD =/ He's trying though and it's really great to have someone to talk to, reciting what I know helps me, too! It's also nice because in exchange for my help, he picks me up and we go to the market together and I help him pick out food. As rough as it is when people give us a hard time about our lifestyle, it is THAT MUCH MORE AMAZING when we are met with an open mind =]
Waw, so cool! Bdw. I am fitness coach if it helps your, ask me anything;). But I get fed up with that world, so I skip to natural healing my self included, but it does attract more people to respect my reccomendation. Hahahaha, life is really about play in this world:)...
joy the ride, wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee:)....fruitfly
What else is life for if not for enjoying?!! Love this post, love life, love mangoes ;) - Good luck AJ Addams, I'm just training to be a personal trainer myself, let us all know how it goes with your case studies!
I was a personal trainer for 5 years when we lived in California! I loved it, it is very rewarding helping others. I wish you the best!!!

Grandpa tell me about good old days:).... peacefull, in between generation connection and messages about the "real world" :)
I like the message of this song. I am not saying everyone, but going back 50-100 years, people had chivalry. It was recognized what it meant to be a lady or a gentleman, or respect of parents and teachers.
I am a people observer. I like to watch what they do and why. Part of this, when i was younger, involved walking in cemeteries and observing family dynamics even beyond the grave.
Lovers really did know how to love. When people got married, they would try to make it work before they considered divorce. People would spend 50-60-70 years together. An in couples where there was love, it was ironic to see that in many cased, within 1-2 years of the death of one spouse, the other would die regardless of age.
I wonder what will happen in the future. Our society has made it acceptable and easy to trade partners, and later spouses. Children grow up without a support system. I wonder, if I live long enough, what will the cemeteries look like in 50 years? Just a series of isolated graves?
I am not saying anything is wrong with that. But, in spite of living in a crowd, I do think more and more people are feeling lonely and isolated.
