I find that guys who are fit show it off with shaving. I love rubbing my shaved legs on his, and being able to see the muscles so much more clearly. If you have muscles, a good face and great body, show it off!
I hate hair on men. Its so gross when a guy has a beard, I feel like it's hiding an otherwise handsome face. Most overweight guys I know or guys with some sort of male-insecurity complex have beards, and its a real turn off.
I competely shave nowadays and my bf shaves as well and he's never ever been hotter. He tells me he likes my shaving too so its not like a double standard here. Its more fun snuggling up and cleaner.
Permalink Reply by Sanazberries on April 1, 2012 at 7:21am sounds soft! It's nice that there is no double standard there, but I do have to say that hair does not equal dirty, and no hair does not make anyone any cleaner. Justttt sayin. :)
Permalink Reply by Dulocktmd65 on April 1, 2012 at 6:08am just because we are natural in our diet foods, don't mean we have to change/exclude our personal hygiene in the way we always did things.. to look our best. Could i be wrong? I'm not sure. But wouldn't natural be part of living free and happy.(Fee!!.. in your own will of loving yourself while eating raw foods?) Does freelee look like a hairy bear or rabbit..No!!lol. Life shouldn't be complicated, but appreciated while eating healthy. We can follow certain guidelines, but we all have our own too. Peace N love to all, Dulock!!
Permalink Reply by Cheryl on May 29, 2012 at 2:29am Ditto. I haven't shaved in years. I love the feeling of my legs with hair on them. I liked the smooth feeling too, but when your hair grows out, it's not all hard and prickly like it is when you haven't shaved in a few weeks. And in the summer, my hair at least, gets blond from the sun. I might gross people out, but that's not my problem.
Permalink Reply by melonhead on May 31, 2012 at 12:49pm Well, without reading all the responses to this, I just want to say that this is my first summer since back in my hippie 20's (and I asked my husband if he cared, he swore he didn't), so I haven't shaved my winter growth yet. I don't parade it around (yet) because I know it would be shocking for all you who are shocked by seeing the way that The Creator of The Universe expresses itself through me and to interject that into modern society, well, that's as crazy as saying that maybe there is something wrong with the way we view cooked food. That's just crazy talk. So, no, I'm not throwing my hairy armpit in your face (although I do enjoy wearing a short sleeved shirt and someone noticing the hair) or showing my male-basketball-player-looking calfs. Yet. I'm getting used to them first. And yes, it feels effin incredible to not effin have to effin shave any-effin-more!! I highly recommend it, with all my heart. It feels like when I went raw, I can't believe something so natural was in front of my face all my life and I didn't see it. Me having to shave the hair that grows in the exact same places it grows on a man? It's called sexism. Might as well get a burka for the women in your lives, because believing women's bodies, in their natural state, are offensive is the same reason women are forced to wear burkas. I say, grow up.

yay body hair! i think it's so beautiful and sexy... when i used to shave, i had a heck of a time with it. i'm pale with very dark hair, and it has always seemed to grow rapidly-- on my legs, especially. my underarms are very sensitive, and they used to get rashes and infections from shaving. i was tired of the futile attempts to look hairless, and i was tired of the pain and antibiotic pills from infections, so i stopped shaving completely a little over a year ago. i was a little grossed out at first, because i wasn't used to it, but as it literally grew on me, it figuratively grew on me. now, it makes me feel like a woman instead of a little girl. my family thinks it's just a phase, and i've gotten some weird looks from people, but what really matters is what i think of it. and i like my fuzzies!
as for pubic hair, i trim it for practical reasons (easy hygienic care during menstruation), but it's still out past the bikini region. it is what it is, and i'm not embarrassed.
as i've become more comfortable with my body hair, i've become more confident and free. it's a great feeling... like i'm breaking loose from the shackles of society, and not shaving is the first step. even though society says i'm naturally unattractive, i feel beautiful. i'd recommend it to anyone and everyone. purposely not shaving was a way for me to put some power over my self-esteem in my own hands. it's done wonders for my physical and mental health. :)
as a bonus, i save a lot of time and money by not shaving, so that's another mental health perk! haha.
Permalink Reply by melonhead on June 21, 2012 at 4:37pm Way to go! I am still not comfortable enough, but as each day goes by, I realize how insane it is that I am worried about offending (or dealing with someone's feeling offensive) because I don't look like a female human who has gone through puberty. Puberty!! That's when boys and girls both grow hair in the same places. Difference is, when a woman does it, it's consider gross, when a man does it, it's considered normal. God, the world appears screwier and screwier. I admire your courage and as I build up to it, I look forward to further enjoying my non-shaving journey! It's been a trip! :)
Permalink Reply by Anna Luparell on June 23, 2012 at 5:10am right you are! and thank you for the kind words. i'm glad that you're enjoying it and are becoming more comfortable, and i hope that you continue to become happier and more comfortable with your body... it's definitely a process that takes time, but it's so worth it. :)
Permalink Reply by Beach Wiser on June 22, 2012 at 3:52pm i think smooth is sexy, but on the other hand f*** fake. but like at least one poster stated, we're conditioned to have a certain response. it would be nice to live in a world where so many women aren't held to a standard that so heavily encourages them to obscure their natural form. i feel for you ladies.
Permalink Reply by Nathan on June 23, 2012 at 1:43pm I agree. Although I would definitely say a lack of body hair is more attractive, it's only because of conditioning.
Permalink Reply by Astrid Asquith on September 13, 2012 at 8:52pm I love to grow my body hair, i go through stages but after doing it a few times i completely lost any sense of being uptight about it. :)
