Hey guys I'm curious....I use raw coconut oil for my lotion. I have dry skin, especially in the winter! I know that whatever goes on the skin enters the blood stream, is this going to effect the 10% fat intake? I want to keep my skin care natural, any suggestions??
Thanks!!! xx

I tried this out for about a month, and i noticed that my asthma went down. I would bath with filtered water. Im a lil lazy now, i dont bath with filter water anymore but i still do wash my hair with filtered water.

Permalink Reply by peachypoo on September 4, 2012 at 9:53pm what about make up? i worry about that. what do you women do out there? just go without? i don't wear tons of make up, but i sure wouldn't want to NOT wear it. and i'm addicted to chap stick. maybe i could substitute coconut oil for that. i just put coconut oil on my body after my shower lastnight and my skin still feels soft. :)

Permalink Reply by peachypoo on September 5, 2012 at 1:55pm good idea about the water. i'm pretty good with my water intake and honestly haven't felt the need for chap stick as much. but wow, makes you wonder about alot of these companies. they WANT their stuff to be addicting cuz that makes them money. they don't care about you. and i feel like i could go without a lot of my make up (except mascara and that probably doesn't hurt you anyway). but my skin is pale and i am also 44 years old. lol. i feel like all young women certainly don't need make up, they have such great skin. maybe my skin tone will get better the longer i'm on the HCRV diet. and i plan for this to be a lifetime change. but it's nice to get a guys opinion about make up....so thanks for the input. :) us girls wonder how guys view it.
