I am not normally a big television watching kind of fellow but, post heart attack, I have been watching a good deal more. This morning before my shower, I saw a David Wolfe commercial for his Nutri Bullet. It is not a blender, but a super foods maker. Destroys cell walls so you get more nutrients from your food. Kind of looks like the magic bullet blender ...

Permalink Reply by Lisa Dee on August 13, 2012 at 12:55am I'm secretly addicted to infomercials - good thing I no longer have a teevee. I love the audience members taking notes.
My dream is to be in an infomercial audience one day.....nodding my head and looking on approvingly, that's where I'm a Viking!

he's just slanging a magic bullet version of a blendtec? LOLz
The name of it bothers me mostly because it describes what so many people are looking for..a nutritional magic bullet to take so they don't have to change and actually lead a healthy lifestyle. I have to admit he knows how to sell.
Permalink Reply by TryxNova on April 6, 2012 at 6:56am Oh wow, another reason I am glad I don't watch TV!
I just watched the little 3 minute video on the website for this thing and about 1 minute into the demo when he said he has to put the "extractor blades" on... wow... extractor blades? Hahahahahaha! Give me a break...

Permalink Reply by Chris P. on August 11, 2012 at 5:16am LOL! I was using the magic bullet's amazing "cyclonic action" to "smash cell walls" and "turn the nutrition inside out" back when I first started trying out raw in 2009. I guess that makes me a "pioneer".... Actually I was able to get a magic Bullet for like $40.00 at the time and didn't want to spend a lot on a blender. LOL!
Finally picked up a reconditioned or (pre-loved) blendtec for $200.00, I like this one a lot!
Maybe Wolfe could sell these too, call them Nature's Second (hand) blenders or something. ;)
