30 Bananas a Day!

This is technically my second go round at this.  I came across this website while starting a journey on a raw diet.  I followed this website for a long time and set out on trying to follow the 80 10 10 diet and though i ordered the book.  When my order came though i accidently ordered a juicing book.  So i got a little frustrated and ended up not sticking with the lifestyle.  I forgot about this website even until i got an email update.  So for the past week i have been reading information and watching a lot of Freelee's video's and have decided that it is time to do this and stick with it.  I think summer time will make it easier to ease into the lifestyle too.  I tend to eat a lot of fruit in the summer time any way and have actually been eating watermelon and pineapple through out the day and only eating cooked foods at dinner time so I'm excited to make the actually transition to total raw vegan.  I look forward to getting to know people and learning more and getting advice!  Wish me luck

Good luck, Heidi.  You picked the best time of year if you are in the Northern Hemisphere.  Watermelons are getting sweeter, cherries are just starting to become available.  Organic grapes will be back before you know it.  Oh yum yum yum.

Since it isn't summer quite yet I do hope you aren't going to wait until then.  Did you read 80/10/10 yet?

Hi,

I am in the same boat! Been a veggie for 20 years and recently vegan.. but been reading and watching about this lifestyle for a while and really feel I need to follow this path..

Just ordered the book so am gonna start tomorrow .. bit nervous about the whole thing as I have no veggie friends let alone any HCRV friends plus my hubbie is a carnivore!!

Would love to know how you are getting on as I hear so many different stories about peoples experiences with this lifestyle.

Good Luck x hopefully we can support each other :-)

Thank you for the replie.  I didn't get to read 80/10/10 yet but i am starting today because i dont want to put it off or wait another week.  I guess since the weather has been nice here and the farmers market has started i feel like it is summer all ready so that i said summer and kind of feel like it is.

Kimberley i would love to share experiences with you i think it will really help my stay committed and move through some of the rough points in this journey.

that is a great idea...

how did your first day go??

I am starting on Saturday as I wanna get all the produce in first which I think will help... although I have eaten 5 bananas today to get me into the wing of things!!!

I think I will struggle most in the evenings as I love restaurants and a drink or two!!

Here for a chat whenever you fancy x

i doubt it will be an easy road !!
