30 Bananas a Day!

HI Everyone,

 

I am new here, and new to LFRV, too..  I am not 100% yet, but am improving--adding in more LFRV days per week.  Just bought lots and lots of fresh fruit! 

 

Of course.. part of why it's difficult is that my husband is cooked vegan, and doesn't wanna go raw--not even gourmet raw.

Best wishes on your new LFRV journey.

Try not to use the "spouse doesn't do raw" as an excuse -- at least he's vegan which is likely healthier than gourmet raw anyway.

I too play the fiddle -- mostly local bluegrass gigs here in the Cincinnati-Dayton (ohio) area.

Thanks for the welcome! Yeah.. I am not trying to use an excuse, but not gonna lie that it can be hard for me, at least--right now. I am hoping that as I go along, things will become easy and it won't phase me at all. :)

And yeah.. it is good that he is vegan, though, he could be more healthy.. He eats LOTS of filler food, like corn chips, breads, granola, soy ice cream... Nowhere near enough fruit and veggies!

Welcome! :) That's awesome your hubby's vegan! Low-fat cooked is way better than gourmet high-fat raw anyway. From other's experience, if your hubby sees your results from going 811 then he'll likely soon follow suit. :)
Thanks!! Yeah.. the fact that there is not meat allowed in this house IS good! But.. yeah, his diet could improve--hahah! :)

Hopefully, he will be inspired to change but if not I'm on my own. :) Nice to have support here!
