Awesome recipes! Thank you for sharing those!
I haven't tried them yet, but Megans mango dressings sound good.
Lemon tahini dressing is great (and tastes totally different than just lemon juice). Just mix 2 tablespoons of raw tahini with a little bit of water until it whips up, then add the juice of a large lemon (again til it whips up). It's really yummy.
Fresh salsa makes a fantastic salad dressing. I throw tomatoes, sweet purple onion or green scallions, red bell pepper, cilantro, and lime juice in the food processor and make it nice and chunky. Add 1/4 to 1/2 a small California avocado to make guacamole. Or add a whole sweet mango (do not add both avocado and mango--won't digest well) to make a sweet mango salsa!
Fresh-squeezed orange juice and dates blended together is another delicious combo.
And finally, my favorite (but too expensive for me to make often), especially good on zucchini noodles, marinara sauce: fresh tomatoes, red bell pepper, basil, oregano, lemon juice, and a few soaked dates. You can strain it to make it extra thick!
There are tons more salad dressing options out there, but these are my favorites! Don't be afraid to experiment. Good luck! :)
Thank you! i'm really new to this and a bit scared to experiment but I will give it a go, what do I have to lose?
Those both look beautiful but I live in Korea and I don't have access to many of those ingredients.
"French dressing": 1 peach or 1/2 mango, 1 stalk celery, 1/2 red bell pepper blended in vitamix. It's very good!
