30 Bananas a Day!

Okay, so after seriously 6+ months of trying to manifest a durian, one finally appeared for me at the market today.  I've only had the frozen kind a few times and am so so excited to try durian out in it's fresh, local, organic form.  I've been going bonkers over even the frozen stuff, I can't imagine what the real stuff is going to be like.

p.s. I live in Hawaii and durian is supposed to be out of season...how do I have a fresh ripening durian on my table right now?

p.p.s.  What happened the first time you tried durian?  I loved it instantly, it even smelled incredible to me.  Don't know what it means to have to adjust to it! <3

Hey Ender, I am over here at Moana'ula, a work/trade position, came in this week. I saw that same durian this morning. It was $40 and I was on the verge of getting it! Glad it went to a good home.

Sweet dude, we're neighbors! Yeah, I'm seriously melting over it.  I feel like a concerned mother.  "Is it getting too much moisture on the patio after the rain?"  "I hope the birds don't come peck at it!"  "Is it going to be ripe and delicious, or will it be rotted when I open it?"

It will be in my prayers tonight. "Dear Lord, I hope Ender gets the most of out his precious and loving Durian. God bless his Durian heart."

hahaha

Yeah!  It smelled and tasted amazing to me at right off that bat too!!  The real stuff is AMAZING.  You will love it.  Lucky ducky

I tried Durian for the first time yesterday and I was really disappointed. I really wanted to like such an interesting fruit, but found the smell unpleasant and the taste was like a sweet burnt onion! I guess I'm just one of those people that doesn't like it unfortunately :(
