I have always had a constipation problem no matter what I eat from SAD to 80-10-10. So this is what I've gleaned from this site on ways I can resolve this issue.
Basically I have been doing everything bulleted above, except the eat 1 type of fruit per day, and I am still constipated after being 80-10-10 for 3 weeks. Any ideas?
I've suffered from constipation my whole life too. Eating this way usually takes care of that problem, but I suffer from it still if I either eat too many greens or get dehydrated. For some odd reason adding seeds actually helps (I like chia especially). Fruits are the best thing for me of any food to keep things moving - especially oranges and apples.
I'm confident that your body will get better in time, and you'll figure out what things work in both directions. It has definitely helped me. Good luck! I know how uncomfortable it is.
