My 3 Year Raw Vegan Bodybuilding Transformation Video!
Hi everyone, it has been over half a year now since I posted a recent picture of myself here so I figured that it was about time to post a new one but after looking at some old pictures of myself and then looking in the mirror I said to myself, "Forget taking a picture, I'm making a YouTube video about this!"
This is my first YouTube video. If you like it please subscribe. (I can't image myself not making more videos in the future.) And by all means please share this with anyone who you think would benefit from seeing it.
This video only takes about 3 minutes to watch but it took me 3 years to make it happen :)
Oh yeah, this is also my 1,000th post on 30BAD! YAY!!!

Permalink Reply by Molly Locklove on May 21, 2012 at 1:38pm Awesome job!!! To be honest, i've never heard that it's impossible, i've only heard that it takes longer, i don't know the "usual" time frame it takes for an omnivore to buff up, so i can't really tell if 3 years is fast or slow.
Linking it on my facebook =D
Permalink Reply by Jared Six on May 22, 2012 at 5:01am You've seriously never heard that it's impossible to build any muscle without meat before???
What was most disheartening for me back when I first went raw vegan and started telling everyone about it was the way that so many people ("men" to be more specific) would say to me, "Look, your diet might be good for someone who wants to LOSE weight, but I'm more interested in gaining muscle and getting bigger so I need to eat meat for protein and I don't want to get all skinny like you vegans are."
Now-A-Days what I'm starting to hear more and more often is, "Man, if you started eating meat you would get really big." Sigh... Oh well, I guess that's still a lot better than people thinking that it's "impossible" to gain muscle this way.
Thank you for sharing my video on Facebook by the way :)

Permalink Reply by Rohan Smith on May 21, 2012 at 5:22pm This is the motivation I need. Its almost been a year for me with only small visual results, even tho the weight im lifting has doubled. Ive been wondering lately if im working against my genetic disposition to be weak, and maybe i should chose a different area of fitness.
This has given me the motivation to keep on working hard! Thanks!!
