My question is about greens.
I really haven't been eating any these past few weeks I've been lfrv. The occasional small salad or celery stick here and there. But that's it.
My question is, I think at least for now in the beginning, the smoothie is the only real way I can get in enough greens. So would eating celery sticks, and adding baby spinach into my smoothies satisfy my greens requirement? Or is that not even close to enough. I keep reading a pound of lettuce a day. Wow! haha. I like baby spinach better, but I suppose lettuce in smoothies is good too?
Thank you so much for y'alls help!

If not, work up to that as you can. It's nice to get variety in your greens too - spinach, romaine and other lettuces, celery, stronger greens if they taste good to you.

Permalink Reply by Celeste on April 5, 2012 at 7:19am Thank you for the replies! That's great advise. Yeah I haven't been fretting too much over it, since I'm really just trying to get used to eating this way, but I think it's time for me to start adding. at least a little bit. Then eventually I will work up to more.
