30 Bananas a Day!

Although the majority of my diet is mono meals, I still have a salad or raw pasta most nights.

I am deciding to do just mono meals of fruit (with the exception of added celery in smoothies & mono meals of quality greens if i find them...) for at least the next 2months.

We are designed to eat one fruit at a time when we are hungry until we're full, I find the more variety i include in a meal the more compromised my digestion is. I without a doubt feel best eating mono meals.

So the plan is 3 large mono fruit meals a day

Durianrider is going to join me, who else is keen??? Join us even for a week...

We have also been quite absent on the forum due to not having access where we are living, working on remedying that.

If you are keen it would be great if you could please include :

What a fantastic b-day gift to yourself, Little V....Self Love Cake!!! Cute!!!!!

I'm joining in with all this mono-goodness...yesterday:

12 pixie tangerines
1 cantaloupe
1 mango

Workout: P90X Ab Ripper series 15 min
Walking around NYC for a few hours
Watermelon workout (I use my melons as weights)- squats, lunges, etc 20 min
Random sprint across town to meet a friend

Looking back, I did not get enough calories...had a late start with food yesterday, and some friends pooped over, so I just lived on love : )
Dear Victoria ♥,
in my opinion, if you are exercising and eating a natural simple raw diet then your body is being given the opportunity to heal and set off on the journey to be the very best it can be.
We are all different, with differing life histories and experiences—but the common factor is if we are living a hygienic lifestyle, then each of our bodies knows exactly what it is doing.

Our bodies will work rationally and logically, when they are given appropriate hygienic conditions. But the way they work will be different for each of us.
Some may loose lots of weight immediately—others may take more time.
But in each case, the individual body is working in the way that is best for itself and nobody else.

For someone else, the best way of re-balancing may be quicker weight loss, but that does not mean to say it is the most appropriate way for all.

For me, the bottom line is—if you are eating well, resting, getting sunshine, having positive thoughts, and exercising at an appropriate level for yourself, then you are giving the body all the tools it needs to be the best it can, but its journey there will be special and unique for us all ♥

Day 29

Breakfast—the juice of 4 locally grown Oranges, juiced in hand-juicer

Lunch—Large cup of fresh Orange Juice from Juice Bar

Tea—The juice of 4 locally grown Oranges, juiced in hand-juicer (these Oranges are sooo good, I am drunk with delight for their syrupy nectar) ♥

By nice co-incidence, I got an old 1933 pamphlet in the post today. I had ordered it weeks ago, and almost forgotten about it.
Apparently the guy who sent it, sent it to Ohio instead of Australia, but luckily it got sent back to him. So it arrived via a rather circuitous route.
Anyhow, the booklet is called 'Fruits That Help Keep The Body Vigorous' .
I had no idea what fruits it was about—turns out it is all about the bounties of Citrus fruits. It mentions some studies, in the first part of the twentieth century, that found children given fresh Orange juice in addition to their normal diets, had far less gum disease and far fewer cavities. ♥

Well, the oranges look good, I can't say the same for the bloated men in the illustration.lol They look awful. They better get some o.j. in them before it is too late. hahhah hmmmm a curious thing....scientifically grown...hmmmm can't say I know what that means either....maybe that is why those men look that way...maybe these oranges are not really raw with all of their enzymes in tact...maybe they are phoneys that were made in a lab? hahahaha
"scientifically grown...."
That's a concern!
They probably just thought it looked good on the poster. There was a lot of competition in the Orange industry. And if you had a 'Scientific' Orange, well then you had the other growers beat ♥
Thanks Ann, Vilolet and Freelea for your comments and sharing them. I know that to be true, I just get so frustrated because I want to feel lighter everyday and I love to excercise so much and it is really important for me to feel that way. I am a bit injured and I can't excercise too much now because of it. I have not been properly stretching for the past, um, well, 20 years and I usually run for about 2 hours at a time.

Now I am paying the price and I can only run for 20 minutes and stop and stretch and then go for another 25 minutes and then I am done.I am so upset about it and trying to stretch everyday at least 2x a day. So I am feeling very dumpy and out of control of my body these days and that is why that subject made its way on this post(I know it doesnt belong, so sorry about going off on a tangent guys) I just follow what Anne is doing because she has sooo much experience and her mind is so crystal clear. I feel the need to know everything now because I don't want to turn back now and I have the tendencies to do that right about this time in my detox.

Yesterday I felt so dizzy - day #10 that I needed to lie down and take a nap and even when I awoke after an hour, I still felt tired but got up anyway and went for a run a few hours later. A few hours after that I went to the bathroom and must have gotten rid of some major toxin,b/c then I felt amazing. I mean, I felt renewed like I had never been tired at all...It was so weird. I had gone through so many emotional rollercoasters and fighting with my husband that day and I was crying like a baby and then I thought I would fall into a mini coma, but after a few hours and a run and a trip to the bathroom, I felt amazing? I was so going to give into cooked foods at that time, b/c that is what I do when I get emotional and angry with Michael, but I didn't cave this time. I think it is because I am a memmber of this site now and get the support that I need from you guys.

Honestly, none of my friends and family want to hear about this detox and diet that I am on (all but my best friend) and that is not enough(she struggles on it too, I encourage her all of the time to join) I think she will join in soon too. But I really find this site to be amazing. I am definitely giving a donation as soon as I get more funds! Michael told me to join, b/c he knows it would help me. He was right! What the heck is facebook going to do for me? lol
i swim now, but Michael says the local pool is awful and filled with crap of other people(it is soooo public), but o love to swim and cross train, so I hope I don't get some nansty disease from it.
Much love to everyone around! kisses to my new friends across the planet!
Victoria
Dear Victoria ♥
good to hear you are healing.
Great progress on day 10, it sounds like your body is doing great at getting rid of some stored toxins.
It is precious, that feeling when something (that we don't really want as a houseguest any longer) leaves our system. We become lighter and more free.
When the toxins are released, and the cooked security blanket is removed, emotional detox can also occur, which can often be the most challenging part; it is often the emotional stuff that cries out the loudest to be numbed with cooked or processed foodstuffs.
It is great that you are here ♥ You are doing great ♥

Thank you Anne. I was almost a gonner today too, b/c the weather was cold and nasty, but I didn't cave...I subjuected myself to a whole avacado instead.
I am having something that I know I shouldn't about once or twice a day. It is a mint gum from the health food store called peelu. has anyone heard of it? It is made with malitol (not sugar or any sweet substitute or anything. I just always had a gum issue and it is the only thing I like to really do when I am not eating or just reading a book. I need to cut it out though. Anyway this all part of my journey I guess.

I checked you out on you tube again. You are so inspiring. BTW, I do still feel a bit dumpy and I don't know when the weight will just shed. I am surprised though becasue it is really curious, b/c I am mono mealing and it is a drastic change from my cooked junk days. Not as much excersise as I am used to, b/c of my injury, but i do excercise everyday regardless. But I will trust my body...hey I haven't gotten to day 11 in a year, so yay!

btw, Sam went of the raw diet yesterday at a friend's birthday party didn't stay raw at a party inschool today as well. he said he will go back on tomorrow...here's to hoping. I actually told him he didn't have to, I told him that he could get really fat and feel like crap. He said he wanted to get back on raw again. Hopefully with the right fruits, he will do just that.
Good for you for not caving ♥
The weight will go, really. Find me a long term low fat fruitarian or 811er who has more weight than they want on their bodies.
Your body is working at its own speed. Sometimes the 'mills of the gods' do indeed grind slowly; but look at the tortoise and the hare—slowly but surely will get you there.
