30 Bananas a Day!

Although the majority of my diet is mono meals, I still have a salad or raw pasta most nights.

I am deciding to do just mono meals of fruit (with the exception of added celery in smoothies & mono meals of quality greens if i find them...) for at least the next 2months.

We are designed to eat one fruit at a time when we are hungry until we're full, I find the more variety i include in a meal the more compromised my digestion is. I without a doubt feel best eating mono meals.

So the plan is 3 large mono fruit meals a day

Durianrider is going to join me, who else is keen??? Join us even for a week...

We have also been quite absent on the forum due to not having access where we are living, working on remedying that.

If you are keen it would be great if you could please include :

I don't want to get caught up on weight....but I am 165cm and weigh 58kg's. I am not 100% RV yet and have been transitioning for 3 years. Would it be unachievable to get lower than my current weight...does it all depend on structure, muscle mass, level of toxins?
Today, or I guess now it was yesterday, I ate a 5lb watermelon for lunch and 19 small/medium bananas with a head of romaine and a head of green leaf lettuce for dinner. I only eat mono meals, unless I run out of something. I don't consider the greens to be part of a combined meal since they combine well with almost all fruits, though I wouldn't eat melons with greens.

For exercise I did standing shoulder press with olympic bar, upright rows with olympic bar, bent over dumbell raises, lateral standing dumbell raises, straight leg raises, oblique side knee raises with 3lb ankle weights, and later in the day before dinner I worked on jumping onto a stability ball from the ground until I landed 3 in a row. I don't remember the reps/weights/sets of the shoulder exercises but I really max'd out on the press and row.
Day 27

Today was very nice because I got to meet the man who is growing my Oranges. When I go on a mono diet, I get very close to my chosen fruit and I feel a great love for it.
We have been buying bags of this guy's Oranges from his small farm, from the stall he has with an honesty box, at the side of the road.
Today we went up to the farm to talk with him.
I bought five big bags of his Oranges for only $2 a bag.

His Oranges are superb, really sweet and tree-ripened with lots of nice little 'ripe' marks on their skins.
He told us that he grows them really naturally—no sprays, fertilizers or chemicals—hurray!
The trees look very beautiful and well cared for.
And he is a really nice guy too. So good to connect with the grower of my nourishment ♥.
A very beautiful aspect of living on the Sunshine Coast is year-round access to local, good quality fruit.
I guess the longer I live here the more lovely growers I connect with. This network of fruit lovers enables me to thrive and I am eternally grateful to them ♥

I had—
Breakfast— 5 Oranges juiced by mouth

Lunch— 3 Mandarins juiced by mouth

Tea— 4 Oranges juiced with a simple hand-juicer.

Thank You ♥

You are one lucky lady to be surrounded constantly by beautiful fresh ripe fruits. I need to move to where you are!
Hey, you aussie people munching on melons currently...is that organic stuff you be munchin? I haven't seen any organic melon in my local shops for ages.

After catching up on this thread, I am feeling inspired to focus more on mono meals. I have been combining bananas and apples in lots of meals of late cos I love the 2 flavours together, but have been feeling slightly uncomfortable after eating them.

xx
No not certified organic but pesticide-free. Not sure how much chems are needed in the production of melons...
Just ate 7 little Madame Francis mangos and now I am on my way to the park to exercise and enjoy the weather. :)

My plan is to make today a mango only day!
Ahh yummo, missing my mangoes Aimee, eat up for me X

you are so U.K. - tea lol! Orange juice tea! hahah. so adorable...nice pics of those oranges. Good inspiration to get off of my mangos...are you back on O.J. for a few months again?
could you give me advice as to why my son and I are not losing weight like everyone else? does it take some people more time? Are we eating too much? MAybe you would know the answers Anne! I trust your opinions. I am so confused.
ok, so i have been mono mealing for the past 6 days now(started going raw again a few weeks now(with one sset back in between, so i am really saying that it is now my 10th day, so I could feel like it was a clean slate)
Anyway, i am back to eating my semi raw mangos again(seni, b/c the heat treat them as I am told...booohooo) i can't seem to part with those yummy mangos.
First day - only mangos -18
then I started mono mealing othere meals. Breakfast : 6-7 mangos; lunch 8-9 bananas) snack (4 hours later) cherry tomatoes;/ salad O.j. Dressing) dinner 7-8 mangos. going for a n hour- an hour and a half run up hills...then swimming for a half hour. sometimes I do strength training and power crank on my staitionary bike.
So,what gives? I am not really losing any weight like so many people do. Am I eating too much? I feel satisfied for the first time since venturing on a raw food lifestyle and I want to stay true to low fat raw, but I also want to lose weight like everyone else does so rapidly. Any tips out there on this subject?
Turn those 'WANTS' into 'MUSTS' girlfriend :)
