Dear Liz ♥
Grapes, I find, can be good to eat for a mono diet.
Joahnna Brandt wrote a book, I enjoyed reading called 'The Grape Cure'.
Also, if you can get good quality Organic Apples, then Apples work well for many people. Because the pectin in them sweeps the intestines as well as the cleansing that happens at a more cellular level.
And Melons work really well for some folk too, especially if they are in season and you can get a good variety of Melons.
And I have gone for nine days on Pears.
I think it depends which juicy fruits you are drawn to, and which are in season where you live.
What works well for one person, may not appeal to another.
Orange juice has worked really well for me, but is not everyone's cup of fruit juice.
Discover which fruits you are drawn to and which really appeal to your senses, and then if that fruit is in season —it may be the one for you at this time ♥
Best Wishes with your Mono eating ♥
Love and Peaches,

I have had awesome experiences every time I do mono island. So it just depends for me what's in season and in abundance.
So far i've dabbled in...
Mangoes for 12 days
10 Days on bananas
10 days on melons (canteloupe)
30 days on mono meals of just melon in AM and mangoes in PM
Lynda, don't deprive yourself by limiting yourself to no more than 3 dates a day. I used to eat no more than 2 a day because I was worried about all that sugar and calories but I one day last year I ate 120 medjool dates in one day. (3 smoothies wit…
i pushed back dinner too long tonight and then somebody on facebook talked about his falafels and had pics.. I went running for my oranges at that point...
After 6 months of 811, I ate vegan cooked food again for 2-3 months. Definitely lost my 6-pack and got some moobs. There's still some excess fat below my pectoral muscles, which is quite agitating. ha. I know it will leave in time.
And I've heard than for women, strengthening your pecs gives you more firmness and lift in your actual breasts, kind of like how bodybuilders strengthen their brachialis to make the biceps brachii "pop."
I wonder if some of it has to do with HGH levels via exercise, and that maybe affecting estrogen/testosterone balance? Just an unresearched hypothesis.
Same here, at least 100 khadrawys if I'm mono-ing on dates. Today I had 12 oranges for breakfast, and then probably 30-40 dates (which are small than medjool). (no dinner - somehow wasn't hungry even after a huge training day yesterday)
