Many thanks,

This is def, one of my favourite books, I read it back in 2007 and am now re-reading it for the 3rd time... it was probably the book that convinced me that I am going in the right direction with my dietary choices.
@ Bart, he goes on to compare animals where one speaces eats insects etc and the other fruits and seeds, and in each case the fruit and seed animal has the bigger brain.. so when you say that other frugivores doesn't have big brains, what animal are you refering to and what are you comparing it with?
The parrot is a great example, a long living bird with a large brain, and an intellect to accompany it, with a diet of fruits and seeds.... anyway, read the book!
much love

Now, for those in this thread who might be interested in discussing and/or spreading the information in this book further, this support thread for eventual LitD book projects and this 30BAD 'Left in the Dark' discussion group may be of interest.

I'd urge everyone to buy the book if they possibly can though, this looks like something worth supporting! I've just got a copy myself and can't wait to get stuck in. It looks great.
