30 Bananas a Day!

Does anyone have tips for night-time cravings? I eat over two thousand calories during the day/evening. Then, no matter what, I start craving cooked, non-vegan food around 8. 
Should I be eating a more dense dinner? 
right now I'm eating bananas for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Comes with being a poor college student I guess :) 

I'm really having a hard time with 80/10/10 at night, and any thoughts would be appreciated!

Hi Natalia, I've gotten those too. It seems if I eat more calories, I get those cravings less. Also, when I get a craving, I have more fruit. Dates seem to make the bananas taste better even when I am tired of bananas. I've also been adding in greens and eating those regularly helps to ease the cravings as well.
Eat more!! Try to get to 3000 calories and see if you still get cravings :)
everytime I've done that the craving only grew. ...just my experience. craving at night is a sign of undereating.
I used to have those last winter.
It really is a sign of undereating.

It takes a while to really comprehend the amount of food you need to eat every day.
It requires that you go shopping for SERIOUS amounts of fruit and vegetables.

Try eating more, until you are full and then eat a little more.
You need to learn to eat large amounts.

But do this and you'll be just fine.
when I crave smthg at night I just go fill the belly with fruit...whatever is available and ripe (preferably smthg dense like bananas, dates or dried figs even). I don't care what time it is. Yesterday it was 3am. Sure not the best time to eat. But I still slept very very well. And tell you more, it's way better than "not giving in" days and days in a row to that hunger at night, which fatally leads you off the wagon. I've been there. Now I just fruit it up, no matter what time it is. 3000cals day is a good goal, and variety of fruits and sm greens are necessary too. get cron-o-meter and make sure you're taking in all the minerals that are needed. love, CB.
I have this problem occassionally. Ive found that if I make sure I have a large enough breakfast and dinner I just don't get the cravings.
my cravings go away when i eat more fruit, why not try aiming for the DR 3k standard?
is it ok to eat 3000 calories even if I'm not exercising for the first week or so?
Hi Natalya, I should think so. At least you'll be able to see how it helps with cravings. When I work out, typically my appetite goes up so that causes me to eat more overall. I think it all comes out in the wash. It's a good question though, that I suspect is in other people's minds. I wonder if we have any dedicated 811-ers on here that don't do much physical activity and what their caloric needs are.

But whenever you can, get moving, it'll really be icing on the cake of feeling great! (Please pardon that terrible, awful, figure of speech, LOL!)
absolutely! you need to EAT more to get more energy to do other things in life :)
