I am considering purchasing a ladycomp/pearly for birth control.
Does anyone use one? Success or failure? considering that the failure could ruin my life I am nervous about starting this form of birth control, however it seems like the only natural option. Its quite expensive $400-$800.
Please help me with my desision.
Thanks

I have three girlfriends who all use the Pearly - with success (no pregnancies!). Two of them are Doulas, so they know their stuff when it comes to fertility, etc...
I wanted to buy one but could not afford it, so I have gone off birth control and am simply relying on the same information the pearly does, but using a calendar and my own calculations (instead of the computer telling me red light/green light days). My naturopathic doctor friend taught me how to calculate my cycle, just as a Pearly does, so if you can't afford one - go to a naturopath and ask to learn about fertility charting/tracking.
Otherwise - yes, worth the money, totally works :) You have to use other methods (condoms, etc) in the first few months while the machine gets to know your body, but after that, it's all good! :)

Permalink Reply by DURIANRIDER on January 11, 2012 at 11:16am I got a vasectomy. If I was a lady I would get my partner to have it done of find a man that has had it done.
If you dont want kids, dont have sex or get surgery so you dont have to worry about contraception.

Permalink Reply by Fruit fly on January 11, 2012 at 10:18pm Love it, but you have to teach it min. 3month. Unfortunately mine did get into problem 3times after each time, so i have to enchange it and lost all the data, that is little making me crazy. But now it works perfectly. Thank god!
so, without the problems, u recommend T?
And what about that book u mentioned amy?:?

Thanks T!
