30 Bananas a Day!

I used to use Always for years even though it was the only thing that I didn't consider vegan-friendly in my life. At one particularly stressful time in my life I broke out in hives. I had my period at the time and although I had hives all over my body the area where the plastic pad touched my skin was incredibly swollen and itchy. This got me thinking there must be some alternative and I found Glad Rags. Oh how I love my Glad Rags. At first I didn't want to tell anyone about them thinking they would be grossed out but now I don't care. I keep some organic tampons around for swimming but nothing beats my rags! My sister even bought some last time she visited me. So...what do you use and why?

Exactly! Because of THOSE reasons, I want to try them. :) Which do you find to be the best for beginners? And in what form on the bottom? The ring? I don't know the English words for the other forms...

Glad rags are just as eco-friendly, reusable, and very comfortable. Plus you don't have to stick anything up into your vagina. There is a very real risk of reuptaking your menstral blood with those cups, which can lead to endometriosis. The blood is meant to flow out unobstructed. I use hand-made moon pads that snap onto your underwear. Had 'em for 8 years now, same ones.
