I moved here about 2 weeks ago and I have been forced to resort to eating some rice due to not having any idea where to buy bulk produce from. I emailed a place called Langridge Organics in hopes that they would be willing to deliver to me as I do not have a car.
Does anybody have any suggestions of other places that might be willing to deliver bulk produce or even a good market with reasonable prices and decent variety? Or even if you'd be willing to give me a lift to a wholesale market I'd be willing to make it worth your while!

It would probably help if you let folks know what part of London you're in as well so they could suggest someplace more local to you.
Best of luck :)

Permalink Reply by Beastie on March 11, 2012 at 8:14am Hi Marco - where abouts in London are you living? I live in London. I currently order either from Langridge Organics or Choice Organics (google either - I see youve already tried Langridge - how did that go?)
I only order bananas and dates from the wholesaler (you can also get some very juicy but not organic dates delivered from www.yaffa.co.uk). I dont generally order any other fruit from the wholesaler as its all hit and miss! The number of boxes of mangos ive had to throw out is just not funny... so I get all my other fruit from stupermakets - sains, tesco, asda etc.
I also organise 811 meet ups and plan to do a few over the summer if you fancy meeting other 811ers in London..check it out. http://www.meetup.com/UK-Low-Fat-Raw-Vegans-80-10-10/

I know Langridge delivers within the London area, but I think you have to spend around 90 pounds or more. Take care and good luck with finding some good fruit :) Esperanza

Ciao e buona giornata,
Esperanza
Grazie :D
appena mi muovo vedo di contattarli e sentire i prezzi :D
(coinquilini permettendo ahaha)

Permalink Reply by luke on May 2, 2012 at 6:25am Hey Marco,
I think the best way to do this diet in London is to buy Bananas and dates and maybe greens from an organic wholesaler, or greens from Abel and Cole, and to buy most of your other fruit from western international market or new covent garden market. Thats what i do and it works great! Your kinda stuck without a car though!
