I have heard once or twice before that the ability to be a vegetarian/vegan/rawfoodist is only because of the convenience of modern day living. Without refrigeration, grocery stores, electricity.. etc, there would have to be some meat involved, especially in the winter time when there are no fresh veggies and fruits to eat. (does not apply to those living in the tropics of course) What are your views of this thought?
