I debated whether or not to put this in here.
glad you did.
here is someone who did follow through successfully on the benefactress part (though she is not silent at all), my friend real estate agent and activist laurelee blanchard:
i wish you the best in your worthy ventures.
Nothing right now. I am a recent graduate (but still a part time student), and will soon be employed. Welding, or metal working, as per my college vocational training. Right now though, I am taking care of my Mother who very likely has Alzheimer's disease. When we get a sitter sorted out and the car fixed, I should be working at a decent paying job. :-)
It will be nice to get to work, as I have a huge student loan debt. :-/
Aw no way....metal working is fun stuff.
you'll have fun watching this. =D
I don't have a regular job but...
I am a volunteer firefighter and EMT, and I currently mentor in my free time en-convicts as they move back into regular society.
I am waiting to see if i got into grad school for social work.
I was doing my PhD for the last 3 years in Eastern-Finland but after an year I got really frustrated and I needed a total change in my life, in all areas to be honest.
I did it. :)
I live in Helsinki now.
I start working on Monday on a pH-bar aka smoothie bar making fruit smoothis, salads and juices. Oh yeah. :)
I quit my job in the university.
Was unemployed few months but I knew that I have the job in but at the moment I am not a full-time worker cause the new "bar" just employs two persons and me as a trainee. But if things work out I might get some money out of this too...but anyway, doing what fills me is the thing.
In three years I've changed my eating habits radically too!
Not saying I am a totally new person but I see light ahead of me. :)
i work at Babies "R" Us! haha. im a cashier, certified baby gear consultant, and im being trained as a service desk person and will soon be learning the baby registry desk.
im going back to school soon to pursue a degree in kinesiology or like nutrition or something. something that will help me become a P.E. teacher one day. help kids get healthy
Unemployed due to a chronic illness that is finally now healing! I was working at a Montessori preschool. I hope to become a midwife and like many here, start a fruit farm.
