30 Bananas a Day!

Is there a better place to search for a life partner (rawfoodie) other than in 30bananasaday?

Is there a better place to search for a life partner(rawfoodie) other than in 30bananasaday? I gave a try at the group "I'm single, you're single. Let's mingle!" and fruitapeel.ning.com. Giveittomeraw was a good site but it was closed due to the reasons unknows to me.

I have been a raw vegetarian for the past 15 years. I have been single as I couldn't find a likeminded woman sharing similar healthy lifestyle. Any help in refering me some sites/groups where I could try my luck is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello Rama,

I can feature this discussion for you and see if anyone has any ideas.

You can continue to hang out here and see who sticks around long term and has similar interests as you.  We have had some couples meet here.

My two cents on the matter might be to assess what is important to you in a relationship and what you can compromise on.  For example, some people are ethical vegans, but still cook food.  Is this someone you could compromise with in the kitchen?   In this case, there some sites like PETA for animal rights activists and some other gurus, programs, and sites out there like the Mcdougall program.

You might also want to try match.com and or eharmony.com too.  They are not diet oriented, but you still may find compatible matches.

Good luck and peace, PK

I met my soul mate on here ;)  We're gonna make a video about it one day.

Have you tried doing an advanced search through this site?

Please make the video, would love to see it! And congrats! yay!

Yes. I second this!

You met your soul mate on here?!  Can you share that story?  I'm amazed.

Vegetable Police has a better than substandard channel over at YouTube.

He's actually pretty darn funny, mostly, and is the reason I find myself a member here today.

This is their vid. V sweet.

Cool video today and the reason that I found this site.

Congrats on finding your soul mate and all the best in the life decisions that you have to make over the next while.

You could try meetup.com. I live in the Philadelphia region and there are a couple raw vegan meet up groups that get together :] They aren't meant to be for dating, but you can find like minded people. Good luck!

That's a great idea!

You can teach this lifestyle to people.  I'm sure many will have questions and seek you out after your lessons.  These would be people that are looking to change their current lifestyle so if you were to start up a relationship with one of them, they would become the type you are looking for in a partner.  Plus you'll help spread the message in the process.

JC,

In my blog, in the past, I documented detailed information about how to be a raw foodie and shared my experiences too. I will be adding few videos in my youtube channel on healthy living, raw food lifestyle, yoga, meditation, permaculture and natural farming soon.

That should do.  And this way they'll come to you instead of you looking for them.  lol.
