Its 12.40pm now and I still don't feel hungry! I have been up since 7am this morning - has anyone else experienced this before?! Should I still eat?
Thanks!

Permalink Reply by fruitsandnumbers on April 10, 2012 at 4:21pm Dear Samantha,
It seems a bit ridiculous to think that you are not hungry because you have eaten too much over the past few days. Most probably your digestive tube just needs some rest, that's why you are not hungry.
Have you been drinking enough water?
Do you feel tired or energetic?
Do you feel thirsty?
Are you feeling well or do you experience any discomfort?
My own view is that if you are not feeling hungry, you should not force food down. It may even be harmful to do that. Our digestive system needs to take a break at times. Maybe it has just decided to go on vacations and this is something you should respect. Eating is hard work. Everyone needs a break sometimes, even our stomachs.
Sending you shining rays of Light and wisdom and joy *_* (shiny eyes)

Permalink Reply by Samantha on April 10, 2012 at 5:37pm Thanks Daniel! That was the only explanation I came up with when I still didn't feel like eating at noon :P
I have been drinking plenty of water and not feeling thirsty. And have been at work since 9am this morning - still full of energy and feeling quite normal!
FYI - I have just started eating HCRV since last week, maybe my body is healing :D
Permalink Reply by fruitsandnumbers on April 11, 2012 at 7:59am You are very lucky, Samantha, to be healing so quickly and asymptomatically.
You are truly a blessed being! Continue to shine and illuminate us!
There is no better thing for your health than to fast when your body asks for it.
P.S. How are you feeling now? Has your hunger returned or you still don't feel compelled to eat?
Be sure to sleep as much as you can at night and to keep your stress levels low: breath in deeply, calm down, relax your muscles, maintain emotional poise.

Permalink Reply by WendyE on April 10, 2012 at 7:24pm There are two scenarios you need to watch out for -
1 - that your hunger signals are changing (hunger feels different on SAD than on any raw diet!) and you aren't recognizing them
2 - that this is all going to catch up with you & end with a non-hcrv binge
I hope these are both wrong, but if either happens - don't sweat it. It's all about learning. :-) Start again the next day.
Permalink Reply by Samantha on April 10, 2012 at 9:22pm thanks for your advice Wendy! its 6.21 now and I'm heading home, feeling a little tired finally. will make something to eat when I get back:))
Permalink Reply by kate on April 10, 2012 at 7:32pm Just don't experiment to see how long you can go un-hungry - maybe eat if you feel even slightly like it, to prevent ravenous slip-ups to cooked/junk later.
Permalink Reply by Samantha on April 10, 2012 at 9:51pm Thanks Kate! I hv been living in HK for most of my life so luckily I was never into fast food n i never crave junk :D my biggest problem is my boss - whom i travel with every month/other month ish. He is the most annoying person I have met in my life! anti-health - 2 packs of cigs a day and at least 2 bottles of alcohol, whats worse, he gets angry if i don't drink or eat as unhealthy as him :(
