30 Bananas a Day!

For the purposes of migration and what not. Anyone do this? Know the process? It'd be sweet to have a New Zealand passport...

It's a nice place!
This could be interesting. How many citizenships can be held at the same time? is it possible to for example marry more at the same time in some other country where it's legal and get citizenships from all different nationalities of the people you marry, or is it possible to marry - divorce - remarry and hold citizenships from past marriages?
That's what I'm talking about, Janne! My attempted marriage is real, with immigration following closely thereafter; we've been together ages, and we are still struggling very seriously to qualify. This is not a simple procedure folks, and I DO NOT recommend trying for "citizenship" by way of marriage. That's a fairy tale Hollywood puts in your heads...

hmmm, my brother married a lady who is not from the UK, she got a wife's visa immediately, moved with him to the UK, got her permanent residency after two years, then within a year she got her UK passport, so its not that difficult for a wife... you just have to live in the UK and be married.

When I was growing up, America did not allow dual citizenship, now they do.  A lot of countries do not, many do not allow for non-native (by ancestry) to even apply.
For a fun movie on this topic, the comedy:  "Green Card".  It covers how closely they look into your marriage, even almost beyond invasive.  Most legit marriages where people were childhood friends and were also married for decades might have trouble passing the "legit marriage" standards.
Of course it is going to be exaggerated, hyped, and so forth, but funny and based on fact, even if loosely...

yep, here in belgium, even if only filing for "co-habitation"- which entitles you to the same rights as if married- you cannot leave the country for a minimum of 5-6 months. THEN you get a 5 yr long residence card and working privileges. a huge bureaucratic hassle though
It will also allow you to get a work permit, which is what most want the passport for :)
