30 Bananas a Day!

I've been struggling a lot the past few days because of a visit to my parents that threw me off track. I ate cooked food and my family was able to somehow convince me that I should eat cooked food. Its funny that I listened because I've always been independent from what my parents tell me I should do. Heres what happened after eating cooked. (I ate cooked on saturday, sunday and a bit today. Today its mostly been fruits and veggies with the exception of 2 slices of bread and 2 tablespoons of hummus. )

I have been feeling lower in energy, not as rested and straight up lethargic. 

After I finish eating, even when I've eaten a lot, I want to eat MORE! This NEVER happens with hclf raw vegan. When I was eating my mono meals I would literally have to stuff myself to make sure I was getting enough cals and then I felt very energized and satisfied until the next meal. As soon as I finished eating I felt like I didnt need anymore food.

I feel like theres a damn log in my stomach

My poo is very dry :/

I must admit that this slip us hit me hard. It really bummed me out because I felt so happy eating my fruit and I wanted this to be  a lifestyle thing. I figured that since I slipped, its not for me. WRONG! The slip is what makes us realize why we do the diet in the first place! It makes me feel clean, strong, energized and happy! THAT is why I do it. It doesnt matter what others think about my choices. But I also realized that if theres ever a situation where I cannot have fruit then its not the end of the world and it doesnt mean that I cant do this lifestyle. YOU GUYS  helped me see this. 

So I thank you

I'm back on and just going to do my best!

Jups welcome back on the banana wagon, bread is one of the worst slip-ups you can make, high in salt and fat and will mess up your digestion, been there done that! I would say, if you want to eat something cooked do it the smart way (whole foods, high in water, no salt or added fats), so you don't feel that bad afterwards. Happy detoxing days and hugs :)

Thanks for your support prad! Everyone has the choice to eat what they want. I will follow my heart and what feels good. There is no denying that I have never felt better than I feel when I eat this way.

yeah to me 811 is something you can't turn your back on. Once you go 811 YOU can't GO BACK! Anytime I have been frusturated and went back to eating cooked 1) pooping sloooooows down, and is so dry! 2) i become ridiculously thirsty no matter what i drink 3) i crave orange juice terribly 4) i develop w terrible taste in my mouth the next day 5) my clothes fit tighter (from salt) 6) lethargy/sad feelings hit

Pick yourself up and start again!

My boyfriend and I get this craving for orange juice when eating cooked as well. No idea why it's always orange juice, I don't even drink it when i'm raw.

Yea I was craving OJ all day yesterday. I also never drink oj. I wonder why that happens? Its interesting that other of you have experienced it as well

We all slip up, thats how we learn :) don't beat your self up for it, just realize next time you do have a craving for cooked food or are debating if you should put it in your mouth or not, remember how crappy it made you feel last time and how much you wish you didnt!

You need to surround yourself by people who will support your way of eating and lifestyle. Those who love you and care will understand your choices just as you understand theirs to eat cooked malnutritioned food and dead animal flesh. Make it clear to your friends and family that this is a path and journey you are committed to and want support from them, not pressure.

The best part is that you learned and acknowledged from this experience :)

Thanks for your support! I feel like no matter what I eat from now on I'm always going to remember how huge of a difference it is in the way I feel when I eat fruity or when I dont. It blows my mind how amazing I feel when I eat hclf raw vegan and I'll always remember that. Right now I'm just gonna take it one day at a time
